Ruby’s tearoom hayling — Restaurant in Havant

I came in for a breakfast before my franchise meeting with a fast food restaurant. As someone who’s been around this type of business for years i’ve never seen such Terrible customer service from the young guy on the front counter. Came in ordered a breakfast wrap.. they had no wraps. Ordered a breakfast bap… there’s no baps. This is 10am in the morning so the preparation alone is awful. I said can i just have a breakfast bap just with normal bread instead. Proceeds to try charge me £6.75, when a bap is £5. I asked why are you trying to upsell me i haven’t asked for any extra filling. Terrible and embracing for a business to not be prepared even this early into the day avoid going to this unprepared unprofessional business.

Nice little tea room. Coffee was ok and price reasonable. Staff friendly. Didn't have the food but looked fairly standard. Why the low rating? No diet drinks available aside from coffees and teas. Unforgivable in this day and age. Felt like a trip back to the 90s, but not...

Just ordered two batches of Cheese Straws, hands down the cheesiest and best cheese straws I have ever had.
