I have been a member only a few months here. Once u have managed to get a space and are in the facility it’s generally okay. People are friendly and it’s clean and kept tidy. Now for the negative unfortunately. I am aware I have joined in the middle of COVID and I 100% completely get that there will be adjustments however. I had issues almost weekly with my membership, calling multiple times and speaking to staff when in the facility didn’t seem to help. The male manager on the telephone one day was not very friendly or helpful or infact had much interest in listen to my weekly membership recurring issues. It seems that there are not enough instructors to go around, class get cancelled last minute and you don’t get contacted to state this. It’s a nightmare to get a space in the first place as they are so so so limited. I get that we all need to do what we can in these hard times but unfortunately I can only state a truthful experience and so far I feel that I have only wasted my cash and not had use of the facility in the ways that was stated on my walk around on the day of joining, other facilities seem to be outdoing here in so many ways, statements that were made to myself and my partner that day of joining, I am struggling to understand as I see many others facilities doing exactly what I was told cannot happen, maybe I was a little silly to go off information instead of looking around. I’m somewhat annoyed to say the least that I have had so many issues and time and time again I have continued to bare with it to see if any improvements will occur, I am yet to see any. I am at the end of the day still paying a full membership cost but cannot seem to Benefit from this. I as a user only use the classes and made that so clear when I joined so when that is taken away due to guidance that is out of everyone’s hands I am still expected to pay a full membership monthly fee even though I will not be using the facilities..? I am not trying to be harsh in these hard times but I feel a truthful insight will perhaps be seen and then improvements can be made. Myself and my partner joined on the same day and only I have continued so far.. disappointed new member. On writing this review I have also looked at what other facilities have to offer right now today and it’s far more comprehensive that I what I have experienced over the last few months here. I again will continue to support my most local facility to see if any changes occur but I simply will not continue to do if I still receive a lacking service going forward.

A side note- I was so shocked and surprised to see the very low rating that fusion...

If I could give less stars I would. I sat in the cafe to order a drink before my session for swimming.

Cafe: I ordered a coffee and was given a buzzer. Half hour later I then saw the girl serving other people their coffees after ordering straight away, which the buzzer given still hadn't gone off. I then went up to her to ask was my order ready to then she started to make my order, when I asked for decaf she went to give me normal coffee and I also asked for no syrup and was given syrup which then she had to start it again.

Swimming pool: It was a great place for little one to run around before my session, a girl comes shouting out of reception saying everyone get out the pool and everyone around here needs to go....I then approached her and asked ive paid for a session, what do I do, for her to then explain oh its only people with these type of wristband their sessions over....so I assumed it was an emergency by the way she was shouting.

It was then our session time, and I got little one in the pool, and I didn't have a good feeling not only was the changing rooms, toilets and showers disgusting so was the pool. It didn't smell clean or even of cholrine. I let little one swim for 15mins before getting out as she was loving it, but the feeling I had wasn't great.

That same night my little one was pucking alot and throughout the night, I took her to a&e to find out she had picked up a stomach bug, which would of been caused by the pool water, Naturally kids swallow water and it's not the first time she's been swimming, and never ever got sick, this proves how dirty the pool was!! Never will I return unless a full refurbishment/staff change happens.

It took my little one 3 days to recover from this!!!

I would avoid going here, the wycombe leisure centre near handy cross is...

I was planning to have a nice winter sauna and swim session in the open pool. I booked my 50 minutes session, because that's all you can stay and I arrived. There was a piece of paper saying the sauna is closed. The pool decided to do deep cleaning on a Saturday morning. I should have asked for a refund and go home, but I decided to stay - it was a mistake. I arrived a few minutes before my slot began at 11.15 - the swimming pool was closed. At that point I started to wonder why i paid 9 pounds if every facilities are closed. Eventually they opened it and I was able to swim... until i wanted a little break to warm myself up and went to the shower to rinse with some hot water since the sauna wasn't working, but there was only luke warm water coming from the shower. I gave up and decided to go home. At this point I just prayed for a hair dryer because i started to doubt they have one. Of course one out of the two was out of order (surprise, surpise) but at least one was working. Instead of a relaxing session I had a frustrating hour with nothing working around me. The management clearly only cares about profit, so everyone can spend only 50 minutes, not a minute longer (what works well in the summer when the pool would fill up quickly, but they can rotate customers hourly and make more money), but they somehow fail to provide a decent service. I gave 2 starts because the...

Nice & peaceful, fun for kids. Nice big park green area. Has tennis courts. Has toilets. Car park is card payment only for display ticket, or pay by phone. Currently costs (Feb 2022) 50p for 2 hrs very reasonable but should be free. There's a younger child's play area & a second play area for older children. Behind is a stream filled with ducks & swans, it's a lovely walk walking down alongside the stream, also has a little waterfall. & plenty of squirrels around. There's a heated outdoor swimming pool & a cafe, not sure of opening times for swimming pool but cafe seems to be open throughout the year. Not brilliant very basic but ok for a quick bite or cuppa.

Had a lovely swim here. Staff were friendly, pool was clean. Sauna included (always a bonus!) Showers were hot with good water pressure. As with all pools, timing is going to be a big factor in what your experience is like. I visited late afternoon on a weekday before the evening rush, so the pool was quiet and I had a lane to myself for most of the session. Changing rooms a bit tired-looking but clean... I imagine trying to keep them nice at peak hours must be challenging. Parking fees are reasonable and you can pay by card/ contactless.
