A fifteen year old space that's still as exciting as its first day of opening. Good range of towers, ramps, nets, beams, slides and an interesting separate circular swing. It's suitable from 3 yrs up...( Stoic souls who don't fear heights) to adults who claim they're helping their children play !. It accommodates wheelchairs on one part of outer ramp platforms. Oh that a clever engineer could extend inclusive play even more. NB. Most of my photos of this area are filtered to Alpaca to show the texture of the wood highlighting that there are splits. A tiny splinter can therefore be a by product of play on some of the equipment. Don't let that deter you though. Our small tot pulled it out herself then carried on climbing. There's also a basketball ring and trampolines on the outlying grass mounds. The trampolines are not in use currently so assuming there's repairs due to happen. You're not exposed to full sun here as you are in the under sevens playground which is by the boundary fence.

An amazingly big playground and open park. Multiple areas for kids, including treehouse, hanging bridge, ball games etc. An ice cream van is located nearby. Also boat hire available in this park to have a ride along with the lake beside it. You can find lot of ducks on it and the on the boat hire location you can also buy snacks, ice cream and food for the duck. For joggers and walkers there are designated paths around the park. Dogs are allowed.

The Rye in High Wycombe is a beautiful park in the heart of the city. It's perfect for friends and families to relax, walk the dog, or go for a run. Ideal spot for a sunny day picnic. The park offers activities like football, Parkrun, and occasional events for children and families. It's a great place for a leisurely stroll!

Visited this playground with a 2, 4 & 11 year old. Good fun for the eldest two; challenging but not discouraging or dangerous. Both for the adventurous 11 year old and not-yet-so-brave just turned 4. Not much for the youngest here, but I read a notice on the other playground that there will be a new area developed for the younger crowd soon. Toilets in café, no public toilets nearby. Good combination of shaded & unshaded picnictables, enough bins & benches for the...
