The path covers so many different types of terrain, from gentle strolls along sandy beaches, to scrambling up steep rocky paths. There is something for everyone. It's worth taking a little time to plan which part you want to do, and preparing accordingly, whether that's taking sturdy hiking shoes, or just finding out which nice little pubs and cafes you will be passing. Phone signal is generally good these days on the island, but there are still dead zones, so have a paper copy of your route as backup, and don't just rely on your phone.
