Ucheldre Centre — Attraction in Holyhead

As a community resource, Ucheldre sets the pattern others should follow. Various activities take place every day for the community and locals meet at the café to chat and relax together. I was impressed by how well the centre is used by the local community (I am not part of that community, but wish there was something like this where I live).

The different events ensure that the community are immersed in the arts, such as the recent performance of the Tempest performed by by members of Anvyl.

Well worth a visit, interesting art centre with theatre productions held regularly. Very helpful and friendly staff, both in the cafeteria and the shop, which was well worth looking at. It was a very rainy windy day when we visited late afternoon, and despite the cafe being nearly shut, a lovely girl made my hungry partner a nice sandwich. The lady in the gift shop went the extra mile, my partner wanted a certain print which was out of stock, but she arranged to get one...
