Following my disappointment with Mac’s Traditional Fish & Chip shop, I decided to opt for a relatively safe bet and visit McDonalds ! It must really be very difficult to employ good staff in the North of Ireland, because the staff at this establishment couldn’t care two hoots about their jobs. Order numbers were called out by a girl who’s dulcet tones were like the rustle of silk sheets and as a result food orders were left on the counter to go cold, and let’s face it McDonalds food could be a lot warmer from the onset ! As the food lay on the counter, I was astonished to see the “McDonalds Whisperer” outside with a colleague chatting away to some local lads and neither member of staff had a care in the world let alone about the food going cold, that some poor individual would have to consume ! I realise that these fast food chains are not the best when it comes to staff remuneration , but come on guys …. The produce ain’t what you’d call cheap and the quality is RANK …🤮 Time the MANAGEMENT got the finger out and lead...
Read moreThe Boulevard is Located just over ah hour from Dublin off the A1 which is straight off the M1, its a good place to come for some bargains..To many businesses are here, cinemas, cafes like starbucks, BBs and Costa are all located on the grounds, health shops like Holland and Barret and Beauty Outlet, Retailers like Asics, Nike, Adidas sketchers, Next, M&S to name but a few off the top of my head have locations here, It's well worth a visit as even with the costs of fuel driving here you still save money, Prices are more than half of what you'd normally pay in the same retailers down south or on the high street. We went for Asics trainers but the outlet shop didn't have runners my wife liked in her size but they're always getting deliveries on a Tuesday so the staff are on hand to advise when what you're looking for will be available. Nothings second hand here, all new. The game of thrones experience is across the road beside Tescos, we'll definitely visit again for more deals...
Read moreA bit annoyed after recent visit. Had to change my baby and baby changing door was locked with out of service sign. There's a disabled bathroom with a hoist that is unlocked remotely. I used the coms unit at the door to ask security could I use the room, I only needed 5 mins. Man said fine and unlocked the disabled room. No sooner in til a female member of staff was in the room, leaving the door open wide while I finished changing my baby girl. Telling me I shouldn't be in there as there is another set of toilets further up the centre. How am I to know this? On the out of service sign would it not make sense to make it known there other toilets further up the mall? Also, it states on moes grill wall outside that they do a cinema deal, don't bother as it doesn't exist. There's also a separate very limited Sunday menu in Moes. Went for the rack of ribs advertised on their social media and was left disappointed as it isn't served on Sundays. Loved a trip around the new Range...
