Freshwater Bay — Attraction in Isle of Wight

Freshwater Bay is situated 10 minutes from the Needles. The bay is really nice with beautiful views.. We also used this little cafe which was really nice with seating inside and outside, Had coffee and cake which were both really lovely. We got talking to the new owner Wade who has asked me to let everyone know that the name is changing to the Surf Shack.. He was a really nice man very friendly and welcoming and helpful.. Everyone welcome and I definitely recommend.. He has been approached by bikers to do breakfast and bike nights which he was happy to accommodate.. Family beach ideal for paddle boarding - sand and water clarity depends upon the day; sometimes it could be the med, at other times the sea weed comes in and after sun it inevitably has an odour! Newly refurbished Albion open for business if you want a lovely drink or meal on the terrace, little rental cafe has okay coffee but double check they hear your order correctly; and the lifeboat station has volunteers selling beach gear, ice creams and pod coffee.
