A fabulous place if you have kids. There’s a great big wooden playground where children can swing, climb, hang, dig and more. We were there for almost 2 hours and my 5 and 6 year olds had plenty more to see and do. There’s also a smaller playground right next to it which I think would be great for 3 and under. There’s less stuff with a crawler as he just wanted to eat things on the ground and loved to crawl straight into the path of danger but there are baby swings.

There’s a cafe a few moments away which serves a great selection of hot food and vegan and vegetarian options too. We got a couple of full English breakfasts (toast, delicious fried mushrooms, hash brown, baked beans, 2 rashers of bacon), a kids hot dog, 2 kids sausage chips and beans, a veggie bake, halloumi fries and a bottle of water. The bill came to just over Ā£40 which I think is pretty reasonable.

There’s also an amazing looking selection of cakes but we didn’t get a chance to try.

Oh, and the hot chocolate gets a thumbs up from me (and as you know, I’m a big fan and critic of hot chocs!) - mainly due to the generous amount of cream and marshmallows. But it also...

First time visit to this park. On this grey September day a brisk breeze added to the pleasure of the wonderful open vistas and walks. Lovely English countryside moving into autumn.

Lots of friendly people walking well behaved dogs. Teens having finished school for the day were enjoying the adventure / climbing area for over 12's - or just gathered for a chat. The under 12's play area was empty but full of climbs, swings etc - all made out of wood, no plastic.

The cafƩ is brilliant, lovely chatty team and really yummy food. A toasted cheese and onion sandwich with salad and tortilla chips was excellent and extremely good value.

I can see this becoming a favourite...

Went yearz ago... Brilliant place! Has everything that's needed for the kidz for an ultimate fun day out, I recommend a walk across the beach for Sunrise šŸŒ„ > Peachaven then up along the cliff edges of the Heights looking down šŸ‘ Before heading to a nearby carvery to replenish the calories.. Then Paradise Park for some random garden centre fun? Lastly, finish em off in Big Park with great views of the Sun Setting! Wonderful ā¤ļøšŸ„‚ā˜€ļøšŸŒ„

This is a great park for all ages and dogs and their humans too. It's well away from roads so completely safe. The cafe is amazing, good quality food and great coffee at reasonable prices, and they even do doggy ice cream šŸ¦. It ticks all the boxes.
