At the north end of Anglesey there's a place called cemaes, its right on the North Anglesey heritage coast and it's very unspoilt. Its a place where you can park up and just take in the beautiful veiws or take a stroll around the bay.Canoes and small boats sail in and moor up for a while, its very peaceful. The beach itself is very stoney but it doesn't stop the dogs from racing into the sea.Theres a small carpark that is free and ideally positioned.

What a lively beach. We went when the tide was coming in and the tidal bell was ringing. There's a free car park just up the high street or £4 for the day at the beach. There's a little food hut there selling the best pistachio cannolis as well. It's great for paddle boarding as the bay is not deep, and there's no obtrusive rocks. The harbours are nice to walk round as well.

Fairly small beach ... obvs! Good for rock-pools, dog walking and even kayaking and free swimming. I really like walking (ankle-deep wading) to the big beach across the stream when the tide is low.

A clean almost completely sandy beach with dog restrictions. There is a small car park at the opposite end to Cemaes that is also pay and display but the ticket machine is at the Cemaes end of the prom. A good costal walk starts from the smaller car park and has...
