Absolutely gobsmacked. This may be the finest cider and ale pub in Great Britain. It is absolutely fantastic. The selection changes twice a week and includes local ciders and ales of all sorts including sweet Perry's, strong scrumpy, stouts, ales. It is some of the best cider I've ever tasted and is like going to a mini beer festival. You can get three thirds to try different things and the owners are lovely. As good as ever (April 2025). My original review still stands… This is a small bar that just sells beer, cider and lager. The landlord is knowledgeable and there are usually 4 real ales and a couple of draft ciders.
