I came to these mines 3 years ago with my late mother and sons, this year I returned with my auntie and sons. There wasn't a lot of difference in the 2 visits but I still really enjoyed visiting again. Once again we popped on our hard hats and watch a short video about the findings of the mine this was new from previous visit and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it and learning about how they found the mine. There's also a small history room with artifacts they have found whilst excavating the passage ways. I really enjoyed this part as I say this was new from last visit. I think we only spent about an hour here but it was a great hour, we saw demonstrations on a screen at how they would of made items from the ore. How they came about finding this site and what it looked like prior to uncovering the mine overall really interesting and informative throughout. Please bare in mind when visiting these mines can be tricky to navigate, some areas are tight and low, if your not great on your feet I would perhaps avoid. The mines can be damp and wet in places and a little chilly so be aware of this when visiting. I believe there are 35 steps at one point (maybe incorrect) so you need to be very agile as well as mobile. There's a small gift shop at the end of the tour and bathroom facilities. Ample car park and well sign posted, Definitely worth a visit if your interested in history especially the iron age. Would I visit again absolutely!

Loved our ride up to the top, especially because it was dog friendly! Great views from every angle. You can drive or walk up if you don't want to take the tram, but you would be missing out on a great experience and you have to pay for parking when you get there. Amazing views, lots of walks if you want to explore. Nice big cafe (dog friendly) serving hot and cold food, drinks and lovely cakes. Not too badly priced either. There is a bar too but it wasn't open when we visited. You can also take your own food and have a picnic on the hills if you wish. Lovely gift shop with lots of different things to buy. Found plenty of dog related gifts there too! All reasonably priced. Bit of a squeeze if there's a few people inside. I worried about knocking things over so left for a bit and returned when quieter. Nice wildflower garden with information about the environment to look around too. It is windy at the top so bring a coat/hat with you as you'll find it cold walking about. Think I paid £8 for a return journey for myself and £1 for the dog, but it was well worth it and made a lovely afternoon out.

One of the must visits in Llandudno . Most of the park is accessible for walking . If you are traveling by car from Llandudno then there is a small toll need to be paid for marine drive costs about £3. There is a walk way also available which comes around 7.5kms . It’s an awesome place for walk , we have seen so many people walking in that route . Planning to walk here then dress properly ,as it will be very windy and cold to walk here . There is a cafe in half way and once you reach Great Orme country park you can find cable car , Great Orme Tram and summit complex . Summit complex have a cafe , bar shop and some golf as well . During summer from March to October only , the tram and cable car runs. It is Britain’s one of the largest cable car. Parking is available at park and it is pay and display . It is free for those who paid the marine drive toll. The views are really breathing taking , we really enjoyed it . From here you can visit Great Orme mines as well . This place is really great for the people who wanted to do trek . And a heaven for runners who want to run .

Looking for a great hike, or a quick drive to the top of the Orme, then do it.. Stunning views from all directions. You can see so far.. Lots of goats, sheep, rabbits running everywhere.. Little cafe at the top and bathrooms.. tons of parking as well.. Take the train or gondola if you want to go easy. There's a great play area for kids.. You can even go into the rock pit and spell your name or anything proper to add to the hill.. Those coming up by the gondola can then see your rocks if you place them where they can see them. Just don't steal the rocks from others words.. Haul your own and enjoy the process.. Take any trail you want and explore all sides.. We came upon a cafe with running water inside by following one of the goat trails on the south east side of the hill.. Super cool. You can see the millionaire homes located below on that side as well.. Amazing views and very easy for any age.

This was such a treat! Excellent views on all sides, history, interesting geology, and a great walk that you can enjoy at any pace! Keep your eyes open for all sorts of wildlife, too! The info boards will clue you in on the birds you can spot, you'll also almost certainly see sheep and goats roaming around, and if you spend even a little time looking out to sea on a decent day (calm waters, and sunny skies) you'll likely see seals, Harbour porpoises, and/or Bottlenose dolphins! (And if you do see any of those, please do consider using the "Sea Watcher" app to report your sightings; it's easy to use and is of great help to marine mammal charity work!) Bring some kind of wind break jacket, as it can get a bit exposed. And be aware that to get the most of out a visit you'll want to dedicate a few hours to it - it's well worth the walk (if you're able) rather than paying to use the road instead.

Make the most of the stunning views and take the cable car up the mountain (NB the cable car seats one or two people max and runs only when weather permits. In high winds it can't run). Or for a more gentle journey, take the tram, (you have to swap to another tram at the half way mark). It's also possible to walk or drive and there are ample parking spaces at the top. The terrain at the top is somewhat rugged. Wherever you look the views are truly striking. There's a cafe and bar, "old school" crazy golf, a visitor centre and a kid's playground but it's all about the views and the wildlife. Birds and plants aplenty, not to mention the butterflies in Summer. Note the walk to the cable car and also to the tram (they leave from different places) both involve a steep walk. The cable car station is situated behind the Grand Hotel adjacent to Llandudno Pier.
