My husband and I took the train from Crewe to Llandudno, Wales with one stop, best to not get off at junction, wait until at Llandudno Station. My first time to Wales from the USA and I fell in love. This is one of the most peaceful and calm places I’ve ever been that is a “tourist attraction “. We ate fish and chips by the promenade, watch out for the seagulls lol they will attempt to take your food. The views are amazing and people friendly. We took the tram up to The Great Orme, the last going up for the day. We were told we could catch a bus down but no buses at all. But we did a beautiful walk back to the Center of town, not difficult for us but if you have knee problems, there are extreme declines on the way down, so be prepared! We enjoyed the walk as we got to see so much more, even sheep wandering in the grass next to us. We walked the pier and enjoyed all the shops. I even fit in a massage at an amazing Thai massage business called Lemon Grass Thai Massage…highly recommend! Also, looking for a place to stay… highly recommend The Empire..❤️ There are loads of places to eat and drink, absolutely wonderful. So grateful! Love you Llandudno!...

However you arrive on The Great Orme, you will be met by a panoramic spectacular of both Irish Sea and Snowdian peaks. The charming, sweeping beaches of Llandudno are seen best from the wind swept summit of The Great Orme. On this occasion, we arrived on the charming and quaint Great Orme Tramway; only once paused by the crossing of some suicidal sheep. Once atop this magnificent rocky outreach, we explored in all directions, savouring every unforgettable sight. It was too windy for the cable car to be running, but, having done this before, it is an unmissable must-do ride should it be running while you're visiting. Overall, a world-class...
