Alexandra Recreation Ground — Attraction in London

I recently spent a wonderful afternoon at Alexandra Recreation Ground and was pleasantly surprised by all it had to offer. It's a fantastic spot for anyone looking for a dog-friendly park with a mix of activities and natural beauty. Dog-Friendly Paradise: My dog had an absolute blast running around off-leash and socializing with other pups. There's plenty of open space for them to explore and even a designated fenced-in area for smaller or less social dogs. Football Fun: It was great to see the park being used for football training. The pitches looked well-maintained and it added a lively atmosphere to the park. Wildlife Haven: Despite being close to residential areas, the park feels surprisingly wild. This is a lovely open area that is seeing a lot more use for recreation,walking and jogging. The circular path is deteriorating in places but the grassy centre is excellent. It now benefits from new trees and other planting courtesy of the friends of Alexander. We are seeing more benches and more seating is planned. There is a lively football section for the very young and older more serious players. Alexander Rec benefits from a top class children's area,clean safe and protected by fencing. This is a nice, little, local playground. I've removed a star as there are no toilets and there isn't a cafe either. It caters for most ages but some of the equipment is painful to use, for example, there is a "ladder" to climb up, over and back down but it's made of metal chains so it always hurts my niece's hands. Nearby, closer to the green, there is some excellent street art and my niece and nephew like to take photos with the street art animals in...
