Tasty Fish & Chips — Local services in London

Poor hygiene in full view! New to the area, I wanted a quick meal and went down to Tasty Fish & Chips next to Penge East Station. As I walked in, I observed one of the food handlers behind the counter eating with his hands. He stood in the shop window in full view, stuffing food into his mouth with his hands. I ordered fish and chips, which were placed into a container by another person. This was then handed to the man who had been eating. He asked if I wanted salt and vinegar. I said that I would do it myself. Then, I said to him that he had been eating and had not washed his hands. I said on second thoughts, I would leave it, and I left. You only have one chance to make a first impression. Disgusting, and I can only imagine what other unsavoury and poor hygiene practices occur out of sight. I won't be taking...

Horrible food. Poor service rude staff woman server told me I was confusing myself when I placed my order with her!!!! Weirdly When I originally ordered male staff member huffing and puffing like I has asked for some crazy order. - 2 small sausages with chips and 1small fish!. Very poor food old and kept warm. I have ordered delivery in the past and it was good. This is the second time i have been inside the shop and both times the staff are angry at you. WHY?? I noticed the female staff being pleasant to an older man but hostility radiated almost anger at me as soon as I walked in. 9.22 - This is the best fish and chips shop in the area, it has been closed for a while and we've tried others out of desperation - none come anywhere near as good.
