Bellingham station is what happens when city planning gives up. I genuinely don’t know who’s rating this place 5 stars — probably people who enjoy being stranded in a forgotten corner of London. There’s no Southeastern service, just a sad little Thameslink that doesn’t even go to London Bridge. A London station… that skips London Bridge. Make it make sense.
Oh, and Sundays? Forget it. No trains. Not a single one. Just you, the pigeons, and your regrets. It’s 2025 and I’m still taking Ubers to Catford Bridge like it’s a normal solution. Spoiler: it’s not.
And to really top it all off, the place is surrounded by fly-tipped trash. Piles of it. Feels more like a dumping ground than a functioning station. Honestly, if you told me this station was part of a social experiment on commuter patience, I’d believe you.

Read moreStandard local station. Gets you to Blackfriars and the city. Blackfriars let's you walk down the Thames. It has a new waiting room which is mostly closed. All in all, standard station that is mostly self-service, its clean and well looked after. Missing a toilet, but this is common to a good many stations now.
