Unhygienic and terrible customer service! I reported this branch to the food standards agency and local authority.
I ordered a pizza (order 24774678). It arrived with a long hair inside. I immediately called the store and spoke with Mohammed the Manager.
Due to the time and the duration it took for the pizza to arrive, it was not a suitable option to have another pizza delivered. I asked for the whole pizza to be collected (I had not eaten any slices) and for my money to be refunded as the pizza was not edible.
The manager refused to refund me and suggested that the hair belonged to me as they have no female members of staff! I found this insulting. It was inconvenient for me to raise this health and safety concern over a £13 pizza.
I would have appreciated it if the manager had taken this concern seriously and understood that it was not in my best interest to raise this concern unless it were true!
It is 11.48pm at night. We have now gone to bed hungry. I am thoroughly disappointed and it is not the 1st time I have had concerns over the food hygiene practices of this particular branch.
The manager should take health and safety concerns seriously and be willing to investigate to improve future quality but this is not the case. I have emailed pictures directly...
Read moreI ordered a pizza on Saturday 15/5/21 evening through papajohns website and it’s now Thursday 20/5/21 and I haven’t received my pizza or money back I called them Saturday night about 40 mins after ordering and the worker was very rude whilst explaining their busy but I’ll have my pizza shortly but nothing came I called up Sunday and explained I haven’t received my pizza only to be told to call back in the evening when the manager will be there, I did so and was told I’ll be refunded by Thursday and to call back if I haven’t, so today’s Thursday I’ve called and explained a second time but this time to the ‘shift manager’ named billy who was absolutely terrible he didn’t apologise or emphasise with me at all told me there’s nothing he can do for me, didn’t even check my order number but was quick to tell me I’ll get a refund (clearly just telling me what I wanna hear with out actually looking in to it) but at this point it’s not even about the money I just wanted my pizza with some descent customers service. So it’s thursday night I’m hungry and out of pocket as still no refund you’d think the least they could do is deliver me a pizza for the inconvenience. I will never order from this branch again,...

I said I would be sending the food back, requested immediate collection and they claimed I wasn't eligible for a refund because my order was part of a deal??? (LOL)
After being cut-off by a rude member of staff multiple times, a different member of staff passed me onto the manager. - Who then told me I can get a refund if I send back my order... (I already stated I would, and they refused this originally!)
4 hours later 8:15pm, I called a 5th time to find out when the pizzas would be picked up, and the manager of this restaurant - After telling me they would be picked up ASAP, had a change of heart and let me know they would NOT be picked up today.
Note: Staff hung up the phone 3 times before finally putting me onto the manager. Unfortunately, they're running a delivery service so they have to answer the phone! - Very smart to cut of a complaining customer
In short; Dog-doo customer service, clear lack of organisation, massive waste of time - Better off getting Pizza Express mate.
