We visited Dulwich Park for the second time now as there was a fair on! There were lots of people here enjoying the weather, market stalls, Vauxhall City Farm, Dog show, two bands, prize draw stalls and food, drink and ice cream vans! I love this park! The atmosphere is very calming, friendly people and it's a whacking good park where you can easily get lost in nature! There are tennis courts, two adventure playgrounds for the kids, boat rides, basket ball court and spacious roads where you can either ride your bikes, roller blade to skate around freely! There are free public toilets available! And bins to dispose of your rubbish! Not to bad in terms of cleanness and plus they do not smell at all! I love the variety of trees here. They are absolutely beautiful! Quite a few squirrels lurking and running around here and there! So keep an eye out for these little cuties! <3 There are a number of memorial benches which was quite nice to see. God Bless these people. <3 Overall a lovely park indeed! I will definitely return again! Make sure you plan a visit too! :) <3

Dulwich Park is a real gem in South London, and I find myself returning to it often for a peaceful escape. It's a beautifully maintained space that manages to be both expansive and welcoming at the same time. The park offers a bit of everything for everyone. The large, open green spaces are perfect for a picnic or a game of football, while the walking paths are beautifully lined with trees, making for a pleasant stroll or jog. I particularly love the boating lake—it adds a wonderfully tranquil element and is a great spot to just sit and watch the world go by. The gardens are always well-cared for, with colorful flowerbeds and an impressive variety of plants throughout the seasons. It's a place that feels a world away from the busy city, yet it's so easy to access. Whether you’re looking to get some exercise, spend a day with the family, or simply find a quiet bench to read a book, Dulwich Park delivers. It's a testament to good public space and a real credit to the area.

A lovely park (when it’s warm, bitterly cold when windy) with the kind of cafe you’d expect for a park in Dulwich.

The park feels wide and open with lots of space to scoot, bike, run and flat enough to roller blade. There’s also a jogging trail. Indeed the areas of the park as called ‘lawns’.

Feature-wise, it’s mostly about the ponds surrounded by vegetation. The walkway (near the cafe) feels like it is floating as you’re so close to the water.

Because it’s flat though, it does lack the landscape/visual interest you find in some other parks.

If you’re the sporting type, this park is ideal, with flat spaces and multiple dedicated courts.

For kids, there’s a big playground and interesting sculptures to marvel at/climb over plus a lot of ducks and pigeons to chase. The centrally-located cafe is pretty accommodating too.

Parking is £2/hour from PayByPhone (like Beckenham Place Park) and there’s lots of it. You can also park for free on the main roads, but not quite as close to the entrance as you might like.

It’s a nice place to check out, bring a bike and so on. If you’d like to test your arteries, try the cafes’...

Really nice park with lots to do. I took my young daughter there and we went on the boating lake and she had a great time in the kids playground. The only let down was that we got a parking ticket for not being in a bay . We parked at the side of the main entrance along the roadway as the car park was full. We found a space to squeeze into but apparently were not quite in between the lines, that you couldn't see anyway as they were covered up with cars! The traffic warden had a field day! He must have thought that all his Christmases had come at once as almost every car was ticketed, must have been about 30. Not really very good ticketing cars inside the park when they have come to your beautiful park to enjoy the amenities and not causing an obstruction. Kind of ruined the day. Haven't been back since unfortunately as there are lots of other parks around were we feel more welcome and are happy to spend our money in without being penalised for doing so....
