Found this park on an unplanned long walk with my dog two years ago. Today we headed back to it for the first time since then. Really nice big open area. Lots of other dogs, with responsible owners keeping an eye on them. My dog headed straight for the big ‘pond’ in the corner for a swim. Not sure if it’s meant for dogs but I can’t imagine humans going in there intentionally. She didn’t smell bad after she’d dried off fortunately. It was really nice to see her happily splashing about, there aren’t many dog swimming areas about in London parks. Read moreThis park is on the other side of college road and Dulwich Park. It often therefore gets overlooked, but it’s a beautiful and natural park with a lake and large grounds. It’s a nice park for running as there js a trail around the ridge which is wooded and nice at cool at the height of summer.
Belair House is in the grounds. There’s a restaurant inside but not tried it in recent years.
