I ordered a cappuccino and an americano and was shocked by the complete lack of hygiene. There were at least 15 cups lined up waiting to be prepared, and from the very start the cashier touched the top rims of the cups ,the very part where you put your lips. Then the barista who made the coffees touched them again in the same place while arranging the cups, and another waiter came and did the same when checking names.

All of this while they had pens in their hands, were touching the cashier screen, and in one case, the woman making the coffee touched her forehead and immediately went back to handling cups again by the rim. This happened repeatedly, right in front of all the customers waiting.

I’m not fussy and can accept the occasional slip, but this was absolutely unhygienic and off-putting. For a café that made such a fuss about masks during the pandemic, it’s unbelievable to see such careless handling of cups now, which is a real way to spread germs and bacteria. Obviously I asked for the refund and let them know the lack of touch and hygiene.

This experience was enough for me to say: I will not recommend this café. Customers should be aware, and honestly this is the kind of issue that deserves to be reported to the health...

After a few years of being pretty good service things have gone down hill since our last visit. There is a new menu and a drop in service. Gone are the child size pizzas, and the child’s menu results in some pitiful portions. For example, sausage chips and beans is now 1 sausage and a total of 9 chips. When I collected and looked surprised I managed to get the chips to double figures, but it isn’t enough for anyone but the very youngest children. 7 year old cleaned the plate and asked “can I have some more?” Prices have gone up too.

My review 5 years ago: Terrible service and very average food at best. This could be so good, in such an amazing location but it isn't. You can arrive with plenty of seats to choose from, well before lunch, but have to wait 25mins just to pay for an ice cream! In front of you the cashier will be stopping transactions whilst they fumble with the coffee machine to help the other staff. Today there were 5 people serving at 10.30 but it was still so slow. About the most inefficient service you can imagine. It is quicker to walk into the village, get a better lunch, and walk back. Ice creams are available in local stores too. So disappointing. The Dulwich Estate urgently need new management...

We've been coming here weekly for months and 3 of us always get food and drinks however this place has massively gone downhill the coffee isn't hot barely warm and the young girl serving today was rude and needs to be given a few lessons on how to be polite and customer service ...also tables where filthy and the cake was dry and old and not fresh never had a experience like it Here tbh it's usually at least clean and decent ...

the girl wore glasses and had a plait in her hair she needs to not be working on the counter or unfortunately I think you will loose custom when we left another older couple overheard me saying she's rude my dog barked once cos another dog dog barked and she was shaking her head .... looking at me like

maybe she shouldn't work in a dog friendly Cafe if that's so upsetting to her but the couple said the same thing she's rude isn't she no manners and I said yes absolutely 🤔 so good luck with her working there for the prices for everything I'd at least like a clean table and someone to be at least polite and a fresh bit of cake would be nice too also disabled toilet...

Such an adorable cafe in the middle of Dulwich park! The staff were amazing and so helpful! They even gave my pups little treats and were so kind! I had a latte and an almond slice which were delicious! The vibes in there seemed so chill, if I wasn’t on a walk with the dogs I would’ve gladly sat in, done some work and had some food. Id have to try a pizza with that traditional pizza oven! Definitely pop in if you’re in Dulwich! The park is incredible and reasonable prices for silky smooth beautiful coffee, super yummy cakes and fantastic service!

We wanted to buy chips, but they were only selling large pizzas. So we got vegan sausage rolls, a bit claggy and would have been nice warm.(Not offered) We also needed cake and thought the Bakewell tarts would be nice. We were wrong. Crunchy where it should have been crumbly. Dry where it should have been moist. Insufficient jam. My biggest disappointment however was that whoever cooked them put sugar in the pastry. ABSOLUTELY HEINOUS CRIME! Too sweet. (The coffee was nice though - sadly we dropped it on the floor) Bargain at £17.80

I specifically went to have coffee in a ceramic mug. I don't want these chain cafes with paper cups. But I was disappointed because I ordered it in a mug, and the cashier accepted the order. After waiting for 5 minutes, they told me there were no mugs available. I have no complaints about the staff—they were polite. My complaints are directed at the managers and owners who can't ensure there are enough dishes, especially since there weren't many people. It's a shame that this ruined my mood and my desire to return.😔
