This is not a fake review. I'd give zero stars if it was an option. Booked a taxi with Jupiter a week in advance for collection after an event. Rang up the same day the booking was made to ask for a car for 5 rather than 4. Told all confirmed, change made and text received. On the day the taxi was 30 minutes late which we only found out through having to call to ask where it was. Whilst we were waiting I asked on the phone if it would definitely fit 5, i was told it would. Eventually it arrived and the car was too small for 5. It was also a different number plate to the text I received - not good for safety. By this time we were the only ones left at the venue. I rang Jupiter for the fifth time that evening asking what was going on, they had the audacity to tell me they needed to listen to the recordings of our booking phone calls to prove I asked for 5 people. Even though it had been confirmed the car would fit 5 people 15 minutes before when I had to call them asking where the taxi was. They then demanded my boyfriends phone number to listen to the recordings from that phone call to. If you mess up as a company, you fix it you dont accuse the customer of lying or being in the wrong. They were rude, unhelpful and have no idea what customer service is. I had to hangup the phone in the end as I was being accused of not booking correctly and find another company on a day of train strikes at 11.30pm at night. They lost out on a £70+ fare. I have been using Jupiter Cars for the past four months for work and have made 100+ bookings through them, the majority of which have been airport transfers. In all these bookings I can only remember one incident where I didn't have a perfect booking and that was partly due to a miscommunication on my behalf. Even still they did all they could to rectify the situation.
This is a great company with brilliant and attentive staff who are quick to respond to any booking or query I make. Although I rarely have experienced the journeys first hand I have never had a negative comment from the 20-30 different passengers I book the cars for. They are always on time (early in fact) and communicate brilliantly if there are any issues (which again, there rarely is).
I do find sending an email with my booking request easier than trying to make a booking over the phone, as you tend to get put on hold and then have to repeat all the details again to a different member of staff. But that is my only negative (and something I can easily look over).

Read moreReally let us down with our airport pick up. I requested a pick up 45 mins post landing. We were still waiting an hour after our plane landed. I requested a car seat at booking stage and I confirmed this request when I spoke to the office, he put me on hold and checked with the driver that he had one which he confirmed he did. When the car finally arrived I saw him drop off another passenger further down the car park and then drive to us. We had been told he was stuck in traffic coming to collect us and nothing about another passenger. As soon as he arrived I asked the driver if he had the car seat, he did not and said our daughter could just sit in a normal seat. Although this is legal I didn’t feel comfortable from a safety point of view which is why I requested one and doubled checked the driver had one. We had to go and pay for an expensive alternative taxi.
