I booked the Hammam Spa Day for Two Women through Wowcher as part of a birthday plan. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t get off to a great start. On the morning of our appointment, I decided to call the spa at around 11am just to double-check that our booking was confirmed, I’d seen a few reviews mentioning booking mix-ups and wanted to be sure everything was fine. When I called, the receptionist initially said they couldn’t find my booking on the system, and only after checking again did they tell me it had been rescheduled for the next day. I was really surprised, as I hadn’t received any prior call or text to let me know. When I checked my emails afterwards, I saw that they had actually emailed me about the change five minutes before I called, at 11:15am. Considering it takes me an hour and a half to get there, I could have easily set off and made the full journey without realising it had been moved. Although I understand that the steam room was out of order, which isn’t their fault, the last-minute notice was incredibly inconvenient. Since I had explained it was a birthday gift, it would have been nice if they’d offered a small complimentary gesture or an apology on the day we rebooked, but nothing was offered. When we did attend the next day, I’ll admit the spa itself is very beautiful, it smells lovely, the decor upstairs is stunning, and it has a calm atmosphere. However, the changing rooms are extremely small and offer no privacy at all, which can be uncomfortable when other guests are getting changed. The relaxation area also wasn’t particularly relaxing, as it’s right by the entrance to the steam rooms and changing area, so it was quite loud with people chatting nearby. The Hammam experience itself felt rushed and disorganised. We were left sitting in the steam room for quite a while with no explanation, and when the body scrub finally began, it lasted no more than two to five minutes. We also had to pay £5 each for the exfoliating gloves, which I knew beforehand, but for such a short treatment it really didn’t feel worth it. The therapist wasn’t rude, but she seemed disinterested and just going through the motions. If I had paid the full price rather than booking through Woucher, I would have been extremely disappointed. It felt more like sitting in a sauna for 45 minutes before being quickly scrubbed and sent away. Overall, it was a nice enough environment but not what I’d call a proper spa experience. Save your money and spend a little more somewhere that offers a genuine, well-organised Hammam, it’ll be worth it.

My Honest Review of K Hammam Spa (Groupon Booking) This was my second time visiting K Hammam Spa using a Groupon voucher (which cost me £49), and unfortunately, nothing has improved — in fact, it felt like the same disappointing experience all over again. From the beginning, it was clear that Groupon customers are treated differently — and not in a good way. Even though we’re still paying customers, we’re made to feel like we’re getting a “budget” version of the service. That’s unfair and unprofessional. The package is advertised as a 90-minute hammam treatment, but I only received about 45 minutes. They started with a small amount of low-quality black soap, followed by a short steam room session of about 25 minutes. After that, I was told (again) that I needed to buy an exfoliating glove for £5, which is shocking — because this is supposed to be a hammam service where exfoliation is a key part. The scrubbing lasted barely 2 minutes. It felt rushed, like they just wanted to get it over with. Then they applied a red clay mask, but it wasn’t left on long enough to have any real effect — barely 5 minutes, if that. After that, a quick salt wash, and it was done. On top of all that, there are hidden charges for basic things: • £5 for the glove • £3.50 for a robe • £3.50 for shampoo These extras should be included in the package or clearly stated upfront. It feels like they’re trying to make extra money off of every little thing — even though the base price isn’t cheap. The lady who did the treatment was kind and respectful, but she was clearly in a rush. I don’t blame the staff — it’s the management that needs to take responsibility. They’re cutting corners, overbooking, and not giving customers the quality they promise. After two disappointing visits, I can confidently say I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they seriously change how they treat Groupon customers and improve their overall service quality.

The spa treatment was a 10/10 for sure, will definitely be coming back again inshaAllah! Took my best friend here as a surprise and we both loved it! Loved the 2 Moroccan women who were in charge of our experience. We had a lovely back and forth conversation in Arabic during our spa experience. And although I have nothing but praise for the experience itself, the facilities left room for improvement. There are a couple of things that the place needs to improve but, they’re easily fixable. One I do wish that the toilet had a najasa or a bidet, so that for the Muslim ladies or women who like to cleanse themselves with water, there would have been something for us to use to clean ourselves after we’ve been to the toilet. I was kind of shocked not to find it in an establishment such as a moroccan hammam, which leads me onto my second point. I wish there had been a prayer area because I feel like many Muslim women come to these experiences, as well as non-Muslim, so I feel like it’s really important to create a space for them to be able to pray before and after their Experience. Other than that though, the staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming!

Stepping into this spa, I was immediately struck by the impeccable service that defined my entire visit. The reception staff greeted me with genuine warmth, ensuring the check-in process was seamless and setting a welcoming tone right from the start.

Vinny, who served as our primary contact, was truly exceptional. He went above and beyond to make my friend and me feel pampered and valued. His attentiveness was remarkable; he consistently checked in to ensure we had everything we needed, offering insightful recommendations about the spa’s offerings. Vinny’s proactive approach and genuine care made a significant difference in our experience.

Ilham’s kindness also deserve high praise. She consistently went out of her way to ensure our. Her warm and attentive created a sense of personalised care that made us feel truly special.

The massage I received from Vanessa was a highlight of the day. Before we began, Vanessa took the time to thoroughly understand my specific needs and concerns regarding persistent neck pain. Her expertise was evident as she tailored the massage to address these issues precisely. Her technique was flawless, and she applied the perfect amount of pressure to release tension and promote relaxation. By the end of the session, my neck felt completely rejuvenated, and I experienced a level of relief I hadn’t felt in months.

What truly sets this spa apart is the dedication and professionalism of the entire team. From Vinny’s proactive care to Ilham’s warm attentiveness and Vanessa’s expert massage, every aspect of the service was top-notch. I left feeling not only physically refreshed but also genuinely cared for.

I wholeheartedly recommend this spa to anyone seeking a luxurious and therapeutic experience. The exceptional service, personalised attention, and skilled professionals make it a standout destination for relaxation and rejuvenation. Thank you, Vinny, Ilham and Vanessa for making my spa day so...
