Relaxed atmosphere in this relatively new cafe in Streatham ...welcomed edition in an otherwise relatively impoverished coffee triangle (save for estate & co - you'd have to head out to Dulwich or Clapham/balham for your nearest (decent) coffee fix). They're serving estates market blend on espresso (done pretty well), milk was a little too warm for my liking on my FW today. They also have single estate bean for V60 - no batch brews unfortunately. 10p off if you bring in your own mug (yay!) Had a banana bread which was naked today apparently - v nice. Lots of other bread/cakes on offer and also usual selection of eggs/avo on bread. Anyway staff friendly. Decor typically Spartan/old skool for a place like this. Worth noting V places to park if you are coming from far (the odd 30min red route...

I got 2 takeaway toasties, 2 coffees and a donut - it came to almost £40. I work in speciality coffee and am very aware of the standards across the board when it comes to quality and pricing - this place is very unbalanced. The coffee tasted over extracted and the donut was dry (it cost £4.50 - it felt like supermarket quality). The toasties tasted great but not special - £12 each is incredibly steep. There’s many establishments in London where you can get higher quality for less money or the same. The redeeming quality of this place is that the staff are nice.

I want to finish on - the current climate for hospitality is tough so sure the price may be justifiable. The quality in product is not. I don’t leave reviews, but was very...

The location is lovely, and the staff seems like a great group of people. However, the service left much to be desired. Apart from the auburn-bearded guy, I wasn't quite sure what the other three staff members were doing. We weren't even acknowledged for the delay—it took more than 25 minutes to serve two straightforward breakfasts. I enjoy having breakfast with my partner, but the wait was so long that when his fried eggs on toast arrived, mine were cold. The place wasn't even busy, with four members of staff behind the bar. Not...

Lovely, there is a ongoing issue with cafes that do not feel safe to go to and sit outside without being overwhelmed by alcohol or drug dependant people asking for money or making you feel uncomfortable by trying to touch you without your permission....and yes this has happened to me. Anyway, this place seems of escaped it. Lovely staff, and food, and mmmmm coffee delicious. One thing, the tables, some the legs are not made for thick thighs or hips people. WiFi is good, plugs for charging or working and pet friendly!
