In the spring of 2024, my wife and I bought a new home with a non-standard shaped kitchen that was in dire need of a refurb. Without any strong recommendations from friends or family, we found London Kitchen Consultants online and it turned out to be a real gamechanger.
Dale and Agata are excellent at what they do, with a wealth of experience in the industry and a focus on providing both a high quality product and service and delivering value for the client.
Once we had met on site and discussed our requirements, they measured up and invited us to visit their conveniently located showroom space where we were able to discuss and spec our desired finish. Agata then used digital software to provide an accurate visual representation of the finish that helped us to tweak some key decisions on the aesthetics. They even accompanied us on a visit to select our quartz worktop from third party specialists.
Just as much, if not more consideration was given to our use case for the kitchen in terms of the practicalities of how we would be using each zone and what would therefore make sense in terms of locations, conveniences and prevention of problem areas. We are so pleased that our kitchen has an efficient flow to how it is used both day to day and when hosting dinner parties.
We had regular communication throughout the project, sharing queries, links etc via WhatsApp group chat and we really felt that they went above and beyond, from sourcing appliances to meet requirements, to making sure we got the very specific details just right.
Dale communicated and collaborated very well with our contractor, particularly on finding solutions for a couple of tricky angles. It worked very well, although I believe they do have their regular fitters available too.
We cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Dale and Agata and we absolutely recommend their...
Read moreDale & Agata were recommended to me by 2 friends who had their kitchens renovated in the last few years who spoke ever so highly of them that it was hard to ignore when the time came for my own kitchen renovation.
My initial impressions when they visited for the valuation were that they were professional, very knowledgeable with kitchens in general, and know how to maximise the space presented to them. They also invited us to their showroom and the options, designs, trends that were presented was admittedly overwhelming to me (being completely new to kitchen renovations)! But they simplified it, worked to what I wanted and kept it to budget. Beware that they will also answer the questions you thought you never had, and that was a great thing!
At the time of scoping for which kitchen designer to go for, I compared LKC to some of the biggest kitchen design brands available and ultimately they came up with the best design, best use of space, best variety of design options, better quality and still was able to come out cheaper than all of them + work towards my timeframe.
Perhaps most impressive of all is their service - they are always at hand on Whatsapp and answer the most trivial to the most technical questions practically at any time of the week. Delivery and replacements to parts that didn't quite go to plan on installation was also efficient. I also appreciate that despite them being 2+ hours drive away have visited the property 5 times at various stages of the renovation to make sure things are going to plan - and they plan on perfection!
The finished article I would say is identical to the 3D design render at the start, but better in terms of the finish, design and colour schemes that was ultimately chosen. Very happy.
I wouldn't hesitate to forward the recommendation on as this 5-star review is true and well-earned....
Read moreHaving put off getting my kitchen remodelled for many, many years (after a few awful building project experiences) I finally had to bite the bullet! I wanted to use a local, bespoke company that would design, coordinate and give a more personal touch than the big national companies. So after a bit of research and some asking around I walked myself into LKC in Ruislip and was greeted by a very knowledgeable and polite Agata. My first words to her were along the lines of “ Hi, I have absolutely no clue what I’m doing and have had some horrific luck and experiences in the past, so I’m hoping that you can help”. During that first meeting she put me at ease, explored my likes, dislikes, needs and wish list and set up a home visit to measure and see my ancient, dilapidated, small and badly designed kitchen, so that she could visualise all the possibilities when designing my beautiful new one. A plan was then made and both Agata and Dale were so knowledgeable, patient and honest about what would and wouldn’t work as we settled on a final design. Even when British Gas mucked me around (they had to move and replace my ancient meter) and the work was delayed by 3 weeks, Agata and Dale organised a hold on delivery so that I wouldn’t have it filling up my flat for longer than necessary. Throughout the work by their contractor (who was also great) they kept in touch, checking in regularly to ensure things were going okay and they both bent over backwards to troubleshoot as things arose. The final kitchen is amazing, excellent quality, good value for money and aesthetically beautiful. I would recommend LKC to anyone looking for that more personal touch during the process and of course their high...
