London Koncepts — Attraction in London

I am writing this review from my own experience. I would not recommend this bussines under any circumstances. We have approached Shaf, the owner for the business, for a kitchen quote in relation to our planned kitchen extension. At one point we have paid £500 deposit just to show we are genuinly looking for a kitchen, as we've been told, which we were told it would be refunded to us if we don't go ahead with the kitchen purchase, to be able to get a quote. As the plans with the extension didn't materialised, we have asked for the money money. The helpful Shaf changed 180 degrees, acting with dishonesty and completely unprofessional and stating the money was paid for the design of the kitchen. He refused to share any terms and conditions of business. He called me and my wife liars instead of keeping his word and refund us the money. I had to take his company to Court where we've won a CCJ against it, with his business terms and conditions shared eventually and found completely unacceptable. Many lessons to be learnt from this experience: if the staff asks for any money please make sure they are issuing an invoice ( not a payment receipt) stating clearly what the payment is for and the terms and conditions for the business.to avoid the disappointment at a later stage. I performed a lot of research into mid-to-high range kitchens such as Howdens and John Lewis. I found that their approach was too objective, too focused on getting a quick sale, and not considerate of what we needed. This prompted me to look at an independent seller which is how I was recommended London Koncepts. As this was to a be a 'long term' kitchen we wanted to ensure that we didn't want to rush our choice.

The manager looked at our plans closely, asked us lots of questions what we were trying to achieve (we're a family house, needing more storage, we like cooking a lot etc), our taste and of course, our budget. The manager was able to show us a great range of designs and rather than focus on us buying the most expensive product, quickly understood exactly what we needed. He was right.

The team came to our house that week to size up the fitting and within a few days we had a great set of 3D drawings. As our kitchen is in a basement, the manager was able to explain the sort of worktops we needed, lighting and all fittings.

From start to finish, the manager appraised us at each step of the delivery process, and we didn't have any issues regarding the kitchen parts (nothing broken or missing) or the fitting. I can't recommend London Koncepts highly enough. It isn't Wren or B&Q, it's a lot better than those so please don't waste your time if you're looking for a cheap kitchen.

We only popped into the London Koncepts showroom to see a Mereway kitchen which we’d seen online. This proved to be very worthwhile as we were immediately impressed with the level of customer service and staff knowledge of the range of kitchens on offer. In our search for the perfect kitchen at the right price, we had visited many suppliers across London. However, by contrast, Viktorija at London Koncepts quickly gained our trust (no small feat as we’re demanding customers), all our questions were answered comprehensively and accurately, and any questions Viktorija could not answer, she called suppliers on-the-spot to get immediate clarification. We ended up buying a very nice Schuller Next 125 kitchen in dark green with a concrete-look quartz worktop for our loft style warehouse. Throughout the process, Viktorija patiently talked through the many design options we were considering, and astutely pointed out potential pitfalls and made helpful suggestions. There was never any pressure to buy, up-sell, or finalise the design. The whole process of designing, ordering, lead-times, delivery, fitting and after sales service was a dream.
