I went in to see what they stocked and was absolutely flabberghasted at the HUGE choice of (primarily but not limited to) Eastern European alcoholic spirits. I am not a big drinker at all, so admittedly I can't comment on what they are all like. Despite not considering purchasing any (at least not that particular day); I was given a tour from left to right of the shelf behind the counter, by the wonderful cashier called Mariiya. She took each bottle down off the shelf and gave me a wealth of information about each one that she knew of, and even ones she didn't know the history of a few of the more "unique" bottles - she perceived quickly that I was genuinely interested in the most unique bottle shapes, that I have (ever) seen! She was incredibly polite, clear speaking and patient with me. I am a complete chatterbox and could talk for England (if only they would hire me!), however she was incredibly patient with answering my endless stream of questions. I also want to note that they were extremely hospitable, and Mariiya had bought a box of Ukranian chocolates that she had left next to the till for people to try. I had never had them before and they were such an interesting texture, taste and what a shape! They were meant to be shaped like mushrooms (but contained none thankfully for me😅). Anyway, I would not have known how much I would have enjoyed them if she had not provided them for customers to try, or even known of their existence for that matter! Will definitely be coming back to buy some of these in future, I can't remember the name but I'm sure they would understand if you ask for mushroom shaped biscuits. I love the multiculturalism that we are so lucky to enjoy, right on our front doorstep living in Ealing. We have Japanese, Korean, Lebanese and now Minimix that provides us with groceries from several countries all over Eastern Europe. Gotta say though it was Mariiya's enthusiasm and eagerness to help and politeness that really sold this place for me as a return customer, so thank you Minimix and thank you...
Read more20/10 I bought x2 herrings from the bucket to make a salad herring under a fur coat. Both fish was full of a spiral worms. I tried a little bit of a fish before I noticed it and spent the rest of my day calling NHS and spent the night in A&E to get a treatment. If you sell this type of the fish it has to be properly prepared before you sell it. I will make sure the food will be checked in this shop by the...
