So disappointed - this place could be brilliant if someone actually cared about it . I first visited 7 years ago and it was a cute restaurant with character, very friendly service, nice food but maybe a little over priced. Now it's just totally run down, looks untidy (random things like boxes and plates on the floor) and unhygienic unfortunately. Just look at the toilets (broken seat and not clean)- if they are happy with that on show it makes you wonder what's hidden in the kitchen. Anyways food was not nice at all- sorry Chicken was incredibly dry in every chicken dish ordered- could not finish the food. The starters were so disappointing- small portions but also bland. The spinach pastry was so chewy with very filling. Portions were small for the price- our waiter did warn us of this which made me think others had probably complained about it in the past. hummus was great but served with the cheap thin pitta bread and not taditional morrocan or Lebanese bread. We asked asked for the heating to be turned on and was told they would but they didnt so we dinned with coats on. We asked for extra portion of garlic sauce (1 portion between 6 poeple was ridiculous) and were given a much small portiom in a tiny pot- that's just poor service. To the owners- I get times might be hard for businesses right now but we spent almost £200 today and felt cheated. Please do better.

We highly recommend Leila’s Catering for your event. We had the pleasure of working with Raef for our September 2021 Wedding. Being a Covid Bride, we had to postpone the wedding a few times and had a pretty short turnaround time to plan for September wedding. From a planning perspective we had meetings with Raef to organise timelines, table setting decorations and of course the food. Raef was super flexible and reassuring and keen to align with our vision on how we wanted the day. Our wedding day was amazing! The food was delicious and we had so many compliments on the food throughout the day! We had tasty Canapes (including fish & chips in cones and lamb sliders) for cocktail hour, our Wedding Breakfast included a mixture of hot and cold mezzes for starters with a mixed grill and chicken tagine for mains and our evening food included a Shawarma Station!!!!! My biggest worry for the wedding was guests being hungry and we had constant flow of food and drinks throughout the day! The staff were amazing, well presented and very attentive with our guests. The day ran so smoothly, all according to timelines and coordinated so well. BIG MASSIVE THANK YOU to Raef and the team, you made our day so special. Highly recommend!!!

This is one of my worst experience in moroccan food. The food quality, taste and packaging from this place is very disappointing. I ordered on uber eats and by the time I received my food, everything was leaked out and it was due to the packaging. The food is expensive and not even worth trying. Fattoush Salad was very watery and it was not even the sauce. Very acidic and all bread croutons were soaked. Was not fresh and lettuces were already soggy. The sauce leaked out from the box and gone all over dishes. Kibbehs are very dry and not fresh. They taste and smell unusual. The only positive point was Tahini Cauliflower and I guess it was because of the tahini lemon sauce and the crunchy cauliflower. Spices in Zaalouk was very stronger than the taste of the dish. I strongly advise you to not try this. Meat Tagine was slightly better option among what we ordered. The meat was well cooked and soft. The food was very watery and did not have a good texture overall. Chicken wrap was very dry too. The salad inside was very little and it was mostly bread. Overall my order was very disappointing and not recommending this place. Mixed grill was all burnt and dry. Tastes very bitter and most of it not edible.

So from the reviews I am not the only one with a dreadful experience. Like the previous customer stated I am also not one to write bad reviews as I respect that for some people this is their livelihood for their families. However when you are dealing with individuals like these who have 0 respect or dignity then you are forced to share your experience. I used to order from them regularly a long while back and their food at the time was nice, decent portions. I used them last Ramadan also. Now this time i was craving Moroccan food for my first day of fasting. Pre-ordered few hours in advance.when my food arrived the couscous had big lumps literally all stuck looking like dough. Was disgusting. The salad wasn't the one I requested either. When I rung them I was shocked, they had a not fussed attitude and the owner was very arrogant, rude, unapologetic, he just did not care. He said well you know we are fasting so you should expect us to make mistakes, did you not hear some people are crashing their cars". Can you believe it ? I was fasting myself so was starving and had been arguing with no sincerity or genuinely feeling bad for their complete mess up. He agreed to send another but by then i was so hungry and also very upset. The next day i used another restaurant Abu Zaad that I use often, and they also forgot to bring 1 thing but guess what when I called they were so lovely, very apologetic, their whole attitude was very nice, great customer service. Yesterday they were not doing delivery and wanted Moroccan food again as I love tagine. Decided to give Leila restaurant one more chance, i rung them and said " Hi I used you last time and the service was quite bad and you sent me uncooked lumpy couscous and then went very nice following the experience, I just wanted to make sure that if I order now the same thing won't happen again, can you please make sure my order runs smoothly". The guy said in a very laid back tone " well to be honest upto you if you want to order. I cannot guarantee we will get it right" !!!!!!! At this point I was so shocked I hang up. No hope. Please do not use this company, the man said himself they CANNOT guarantee it. So basically you may have luck with them or you may not. The worst Arabic restaurant ever. I then ordered lebanese. I am arab myself and have used a few restaurants for long time, all of which their staff are so nice. This one should be closed down. It is people who keeps their business going yet they have a disgusting manner , and 0 people skills. I simply had to share. They will probably write back and lie, that would not surprise me, I definitely doubt they will apologize . Take your money elsewhere. This is run by guys who act like thugs unfortunately. What ashame. Be prepared to get uncooked lumpy food and then they tell you sorry but there's no guarantee....

We decided that we’d like to have Middle Eastern cuisine at our wedding, as my wife is Iraqi and we love the food! Our wedding was in Lincolnshire, and we visited over 10 potential caterers, inside and outside of London, and Leila Catering stood out over and above the rest. There were many reasons we chose Leila, however the main one was because of Raef Hamze. Raef is the Group Operations Director at Leila and he has so much experience in catering events and instantly put us at ease with his expert knowledge. Raef always answered his mobile regardless of the time or day, and visited the venue before the wedding day (a 5 hour+ round trip!) to make sure everything was in place. On the day itself, he was there early in the morning to late at night, and was always available to assist with whatever was required. He worked so well with photographer and venue co-ordinator to keep the day on track, and put us and our guests at ease with his friendly approach. Now onto the food… It’s safe to say, it was incredible! So many of our guests complimented the food and it really made the day. We’d had a free tasting at the restaurant prior to the wedding day, and this gave us peace of mind that our guests would be happy. I would also say that it’s great value for money, we had a huge amount of food, including numerous canapés, starters, mains, desserts, tea/coffee, and evening kebab, for half the price of what normal wedding food would cost. We even had a berber tea man! On top of this, they included all the food for the other suppliers, including photographer, band, videography etc. In summary, I highly recommend Leila Catering and Raef, and I’m looking forward to the next time we visit London to stop by at the restaurant. All the best....
