Rodfai is hands-down my go to Thai restaurant, and for good reason! The food is the real deal - absolutely authentic, bursting with flavour, and made with so much love that you can taste it in every bite. The ambience is warm and welcoming, the staff are genuinely friendly, and the chefs? Magicians in the kitchen!

Honestly, it doesn’t get much better than this. Everything on the menu is incredible, but I have to give a special shoutout to my personal favourites: Laab Gai (a zesty chicken salad that’s refreshing and addictive Kee Mao Gai (flat noodles with chicken and veggies, perfectly spicy and so satisfying) Kra Pow Gai (stir-fried holy basil chicken that’s pure comfort in a dish along with Jasmine rice!) Tom Yum Seafood (a tangy, fragrant broth loaded with mixed seafood - an explosion of flavours). Nearly forgot to mention the Som Tum (sweet or spicy to your taste, Papaya salad with Sticky Rice!). Each dish is to die for - I always end up over-eating here. This food is honestly better than what I’ve had in many places in Thailand!

And a special shoutout for their cocktails - they’re fantastic. Honestly, you could spend an entire evening here sipping, snacking, and just soaking in the vibe. Rodfai is a true gem of a place, and I I’d highly recommend it to folks who’re looking for...

Small place but food packs so much punch!

Visited with a group of girls after reserving a table. The place is beautifully decorated, and the music was just at a level where it was audible and you can still talk.

I liked that the starters on the menu were divided by different regions! We got to share: Mixed start platter which had softshell crab salad (super tasty!), chicken satay (amazing - great accompanying sauce), and some spring rolls (nice!) More chicken satays! Prawn tempura - perfectly crunchy and nice dipping sauce Sai Oua (spicy sausage) - this was my absolute favourite. Wonderfully spiced and had a bit of a kick, so tasty!

My main I had the chicken pad kee mao which was really tasty and a good chilli kick! I tried some of my friend's massaman beef curry and that was heavenly! Had this all with a lovely mojito!

The serving staff were very friendly, my only slight issue was that it was a bit slow, having to get their attention to order, clear plates, get the bill, etc.

Definitely a...

My friends and I ate there yesterday and hand on heart this has to be the ‘very worse’ Thai food I have ever had.

The som yum salad did not taste right and not the way it is normally made nor did the crab salad, which I could not even recognise the taste of crab.

The Pad Thai was very greasy and they used burnt or over used oil on it. I could taste the burnt taste in the oil. And the prawns were small grade and rubbery and over cooked and so few, I think 4 for a £11/£12 dish - that is a very poor poor show.

All in all the food was expensive and very poorly prepared with poor and old ingredients.

Service was average to be truthfully.

Authenticity 1 out 10 Quality of food 1 out 10 Preparation 1 out 10 Portion size 2 out 10 Value for money 0 out 10 Service 5 out 10

All in all, I regret coming here. Sadly, my friend was ill after he ate a curry dish on his return home so he has informed me this afternoon.

I will...

The best Thai food in London. Keep coming back to this place. Love the soft shell crab and recently discovered their tofu dish!
