The park was massive, with huge open spaces and loads of different paths, which allowed you to explore the area as you pleased. There were sheep, bulls, and cows around the park, grazing peacefully. I'd like to say they were very friendly and just minded their own business. It's really nice to just be able to be around the wildlife whilst enjoying the breathless views. If you follow the two dedicated paths, which offers a 5-mile walk around the park or a shorter pathway, which was just over 2 miles, We elected for the 5-mile walk, but it was more like an 8-mile walk as we de-toured a few times and ultimately lost the trail 😄. But had loads of fun climbing up and down hill. Ended up doing just over 18k of steps, and the legs felt like jelly and sore for 2 days. Really recommend that if you're ever in the area, check the weather as you may need a jacket as it gets quite windy, ensure to bring some water, some snacks and enjoy the space.

Visited today for the children's playground, which was underwhelming and basic given the size of Norman Park. I would not recommend travelling here just for the playground. The park has acres of open space with plenty of football goals, and seems to be a place most suited to older children and adults for sports. The outbuildings near the playground are dilapidated and are crying out for some TLC. It is a shame that Bromley Council aren't investing in proper maintenance of this space, as this park could be significantly better than it is now. They could look at Swanley Park for inspiration, which is a much better option for young children in particular than Norman Park.

As we when on a Sunday it was a carboot sale well no bad was a lot of people did enjoy the Sunday early waking up nk bad for a Entrance and the car park well organized but i have to say i have seen better ones. Some people in there was very untidy and over pricing. Did enjoy the walk and friendliness of people will be nice if the do some benches or put a bit more chairs for the older people as the hot food van didnt have that many and did enjoy a nice cup of tea with the bacon roll

Great for a gentle run, nice and flat and just under 2 km if you go around the path. Host to Bromley Parkrun on Saturday mornings, 9am sharp. See you there! Update 10 Feb - just back from ParkRun, car parks fill up early on Saturday mornings, so best to jog there or park in a side street and jog in if after 08:45 on a Saturday morning. Update 22 Jun 22 - work continues on the running track adjacent to the park and currently the Hayes Lane car park capacity is reduced by about 30 spaces, however still plenty of parking at most times. Update 22 Apr 23 - running track work now complete so main car park is at full capacity again. Track side cafe in the running track, open to all, is worth a visit with proper barrista coffees and a selection of great cakes 🍰 Update 10 SEP 22 - not much changed from previous update. Watch the path where tree roots have made it uneven. Bit of a trip hazard Update June 23 - grass had been allowed to grow long, but now most has been cut. Currently A21 car park closed as film crew lorries using it. Hayes Lane car park full early evening as a number of small...

We mostly come here to do park run and it has a great flat course with wonderful volunteers. The park is brilliantly equipped for exercise with a large, wide running and cycling track accommodating both exercisers and walkers. There’s lots of space for ball games and often classes going on across the park - I’ve come before for a bikeability course. We are also geocachers and there are some dotted around the park. There are two ample free car parks at either end and good public transport connections. However there are a few basics that really let the park down. The kids playground is tucked away in a corner and doesn’t have much equipment, so the kids get bored quickly. There are no toilet facilities and, while the Saturday morning food market is great, there are no refreshments available at any other time. This park has so much potential it would be great to see a bit of effort put in to offer more for...
