Fascinating place. I visited the Maritime Collections Centre to view a painting by Nicholas Pocock. The staff were absolutely delightful. I am grateful to Kirsten who was very welcoming and accommodating. If you wish to view and photograph any collections they will send you a form to fill in and sign. Then just book a date online. The gatekeeper will let you drive onto the site, but parking is limited. (There is also on street parking across...

A fantastic experience, we were given a guided tour after completing a workshop. Our curator was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I especially enjoyed looking at the paintings and maritime exhibits. There are some restrictions on taking photos in certain areas. I thoroughly...

One can visit on a guided tour on Thursdays. The centre houses about 95 percent of the Maritime Museum collection and in addition this is where the conservation takes place. I found the tour was fascinating and is strongly...
