So a new ballpit/slide etc has come to artifix however it is very pricey at £5 for under 2 and £7 over 2 years old the response is well you gt 2 hours. Who really wants to stay for 2 hours how about a cheaper price then for less time in their ? Also right next to the ball bit is the cafe and the man is quite rude, as unless you are buying something, he comes over and asks you to leave the area. It's obviously not well thought through. And I very much doubt it will keep busy due to the price. Definitely feel it needs rethinking on the prices and service. The other staff are however friendly I won't be unfair and say it's everyone or the place is no good as it is lovely ideas etc. Just needs a bit of reasonable consideration from the people charging for this. It was Really nice actually that the seperate little play pen their was free not sure if it's there now ?
In response to your reply: whilst I appreciate your reply I am not sure wether there is sarcasm in your reply, however I will respond....yes there are plenty of soft plays at a lower price I feel it would be unfair to list other places whilst reviewing your business. Even £5 for all ages would of been fair. Also if a parent/guardian has paid for the use of this softplay then surely you she accomadate for where they sit to watch over their children. You will eventually when you realise just how many people don't return or lack of use of the softplay be forced to review your pricing after all, its for the community etc isn't it so its nice that you wanted the feedback. I just hope your appreciate where me and others are...
Read moreI was very happy to find a soft play so close to my house. However, it is £7 for 2 hours which would be fine if it was a big soft play, which it isn't. It's very small, a small slide area and ball pit with toys like doll House and kitchen. It's nice don't get me wrong but it's only worth £5 at most as I do not think there is enough there to keep a child entertained for 2 hours.
Better at sutcliffe has a massive soft play and is £8 , Eltham High Street another soft play is £4 and much bigger than the one in Artfix.
Also there isn't seating for parents to sit unless you want to buy something which isn't always the case if you do try to sit down the barista will tell you you can't sit down unless you buy something, even if it is empty and there are 5 tables with chairs available! So you must stand while your child plays, not very convenient or relaxing.
A real shame as I think this place could be very busy and do well if they listened to feedback from customers. I spoke to a few mums who said its too pricey and they wouldn't be coming back. I would like this place to do well as I would like to go here but as it stands...
Read moreThis was a bit of a mixed bag really… I ordered a sandwich and coffee and put my things down at a table and took my baby to the loo which was a long way from the table. When I got back somebody had moved all my things which were hidden round a corner and thrown away my coffee. They did make me a new one but this is the first time I’ve encountered this when going to the loo in a cafe! Very tricky for parents on their own to manage.
I ordered a tuna, cheese and cucumber panini but there was no cucumber in it so it was a bit bland.
The soft play is ok but I agree that £7 is too expensive for what it is as it’s quite small.
There was no toilet roll in 2 of the toilets.
It just lacked the smiley, welcoming vibe I so often experience. I felt a bit like an...
