King & Cissy at Artfix — Restaurant in London

Hygiene is the most important for me. I am a regular at Art Cafe since it started couple of years ago. When this restuarant had just started,its first week...I saw its staff coming out of toilet cubicle and wash her hands with just water and left. I was disgusted considering they serve food.

In last couple of months, I have been to the Art Cafe and everytime I used the toilet, there is no toilet paper and hand wash.

Seemingly, the King and Cassy management is responsible to maintain it as informed my the Art Cafe manager.

Once I even asked for toilet paper on previous occassion thinking its an error.

It happened again today. When I went to the staff of this restaurant, they ignored me and acted as if they dont know what I am talking about.

Its the only restaurant with such miser and poor hygiene...

Tucked away like a true local gem, King & Cissy at Artfix is one of those rare places that instantly feels like home. The service? Always kind, always consistent — no matter what time you show up (and yes, they’re open late, which makes them a total lifesaver).

The food is unbelievably fresh and unapologetically authentic — exactly what you crave when you’re tired of watered-down versions of Chinese cuisine. Every dish tastes like it was made with real love and real tradition.

In terms of price it’s difficult to say as the portions are sooo huge and all those soups are at as little as £13 but for me those are soooo enormous that I easily share it with my bf over a bottle of wine 🍷

It’s the kind of place you don’t just eat at — you come back to. Again and again. Thank you, King & Cissy, for doing what you do so...

I had an amazing meal here! The flavors were rich and satisfying.

House Special Pork Minced Over Tofu – Absolutely delicious! The seasoning was perfect, and the flavors were deep and well-balanced.

Stir-Fried Chicken Gizzards – If you enjoy organ meats, this is a must-try. It’s on the spicier side, but the heat enhances the flavor. I really liked it!

Cabbage and Pork Fried Sticky Rice Cakes – The vegetables tasted very fresh, and the combination was well-executed. Definitely worth ordering.

House Special Wonton Pot – I loved the taste of the wontons! The broth was flavorful, and everything came together beautifully.
