Carved Into the harsh and barren desert this Oasis has been a stopping point for weary travellers travelling the Silk Road between Stratford and western Islington for centuries. This ancient bazaar stands out in the local landscape and trinkets from all over the worl as local traders hurry about their daily business - there is a real buzz to the place. The modern shopping centre paid for as part of a £16bn redevelopment fund in 2014 boasts an impressive gift shop, and many ancient scripts describe it being frequented by Ghenhis Khan, Marco Polo and Christopher Columbus- who are all rumoured to have bought it's trademark comedy mug "Vos have ut ne insaniat in operari hic autem non adjuvat" (latin for "you dont have to he mad to be a world explorer here but it helps". ) The girls and i stopped there after a great hen weekend on our way back to Swansea.
