Rowan Road Recreation Ground — Attraction in London

This is our closest park, with things that the kids can actually play on. It's not the best looked after park, though, and I've seen broken glass and dog mess numerous times. The pool needs more care and attention, too. It was filled over the summer, but the paint at the bottom of it was already peeling, and where it wasn't peeling it was slippery. I've noticed that some people drive their own cars in, too. There isn't an actual car park here, but since this isn't made clear people just abuse it. This park could be a LOT nicer if it was actually looked after like...

I had seen Rowan Recreation Ground on Google Maps for nearly 5 years, and while I had never taken the time to investigate, on this occasion I'm glad I did.

The ground itself is small, but bigger than what I had expected (from looking on Google Maps); more importantly, it's litter-free, and the park benches are clean. The location needs a little work in general and perhaps an outdoor fitness area would be ideal too, otherwise it's not a bad...

Nice little park with a children's play area, padding pool. The pool is nice for the summer months for the kids. Basketball hoop for the older one's. Plenty of seating. It's fairly clean and maintained to a certain extent. It would be nice if they could add a mini gym I think it would go down a treat. You do find the dog walkers but most of them...
