Cosy Café — Restaurant in London

Six of us came in for tea and toast. 2 toast turn up, had to chase the rest after 15 mins looking at each other, so another 2 toast turn up. Had to chase again for the last two but only one turned up so the waitress says would you like anything else, so we said another one of those would be nice but it never came. After about half hour waiting for six, sorry, five toast we gave up and left. Burned the tip on that one Thanks for your reply. we ordered 6 toast one with Marmite but I did clarify when we first ordered, thats 12 bits of toast. The one with Marmite was added after order but only one was ordered with marmite but 2 turned up which is why I said to you no more with marmite please. Your menu on the wall says toast - 2 slices, I mean, who buys toast in singles? When your colleague asked if there was anything else we did ask for the last lot of toast, which didnt turn up. Its not like I didn't come to the counter twice to chase it.

Great food ...service could be a bit better ..you have to go to the counter to order and pay ..sometimes you are not noticed by the staff . I found it a bit annoying that my coffee was served without a saucer as there is no where to put your teaspoon except on the table .....also the only serviette available was the one that my toasted bacon sandwich sat on top of ....therefore making it useless to use as it the juices and butter was all over it .. I know these are just little things ....but where ever you go it's all about the experience...🙏 Besides all this I would recommend a visit...

A couple of weeks ago, I sat outside being it being a nice day, and as I got up the chair had a piece of metal sticking out of it, it ripped a hole in my new jeans , all I got was sorry that was it, and then I meet my friends down for lunch and the table we sat on near a toilet, I could feel water on my feet jumped up my experience bag was ruined as water was coming from where ever, and again all I got was sorry, it's not the owners fault, well I won't be going back in there, one pair of ruined jeans and a expensive bag ruined thank...
