Following reading abysmal reviews in the Guardian, Time Out and evening standard I HAD to visit the KAWS exhibition. Booking a slot is free and hyde park is stunning, so nothing much to lose. It was FUN. You DO need to use the application to make the most of it. shame that they don't get help to explain how to operate it in the gallery as seems almost all around failed or struggled to use it. Also ensure WiFi is available and free as downloading application with large graphical downloadable characters is NOT easy mid Hyde park for some networks.

The exhibition focuses on our connection with the earth and it's fragility. The Karrabang film collective explores the experience of aboriginal life (North Western Australia) and their challenge to stay physically & spiritually connected to the land in the face of capitalist detritus. The White zombie wandering through their lands represents this capitalist element and the over consumption that come with it. This is just one part of the exhibition which supports three other installations also dealing with Earth...
Read moreThe most incredible exhibition by Rafik Anadol, absolutely mesmerising. It’s a shame my personal experience was almost ruined by staff not allowing me to drink water, lean on a wall or sit anywhere. London is an exhausting place and I needed just a few minutes to hydrate and catch my breath and take in my surroundings, but I wasn’t allowed. We were only allowed to lie on beanbags of which there were about 20 and - understandably- when folks managed to get an available beanbag, they stayed there! I think it wasn’t against the rules to lie on the floor.
