Town Park — Attraction in London

Run down playground, not very safe. Teenagers smoking weed in the playground as well as the restrooms, met with an aggressive attitude. Parents smoking in the playground, as well as leaving a mess and being a bad role model to their own children.

Local police or some authority should be present more often.

The gym facilities are already broken. Parents not paying attention to their own children and allowing them to use unsuitable equipment

The cafe is shut down for a while now and that is a pity.

Restroom are poorly managed and they are disgusting at all time regardless is early morning or late afternoon.

It is a pity, as the park itself is well managed, I'm only referring to gardening part of it. So basically looks great if you are just passing through.

Attended Guy Fawkes event 2 years ago and, apart from a very expensive ticket Al we got was a very poor managed event, muddy shoes and frozen body, therefore I preferred to give it a miss this past year and watch the firework from my window. The council is robbing us, the food was expensive as well as the ride, not that you could reach them as it was mud everywhere even tho they improvised some sort of pathetic path.

Lovely park with swans and ducks to feed along the pond walk. Nice playground split in 2 for older and younger kids which is awesome, some seating area with lots of field space to run around. Only downside are some dog owners letting their dog run up to crash not only our picnic but some don't pickup after their dogs. While I've seen worse, I'll beg dog owners to keep the park clean as it's extremely beautiful. We travel 45mins to it and it's our second time. There are tennis and basketball courts, exercise machines, table tennis, squirrels and birds. I'm sure I've not fully explored the park yet after second visit but will update if anything changes on subsequent visits. Kids...

It's getting better every year. Looks a lot cleaner, smells alot healthier. That manmade Creek, could do with flushing through a bit more often. The new layout of the Coffee shop is very good, useful to the mothers on a mixed day weather wise. Serves good drinks and snacks from the varied Menu. Still think it needs a better outdoor activities gym area. Could do with a skatepark area near the basketball courts. Basketball courts could do with an update too. Still a very good Oasis in a town... Well overdue a Revamp/Makeover...... What do they do with the people's Revenue round here.??? Grovelands Park could do with a Freshen up too. Get busy - Town...
