Extremely Disappointing Experience – Especially After Being a Loyal Customer I’ve been to this restaurant four or five times before and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. However, my most recent visit was shockingly disappointing — not just in terms of service, but also the attitude we received. We ordered drinks and starters. When the starter arrived, there was no cutlery. After asking for some, a staff member sarcastically said, “We eat with our hands here,” which was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. While seated outside, we politely asked if we could smoke. We were told no (which we completely respected), so we then requested an ashtray to step away and smoke elsewhere — but it never arrived. When our mains were served, a waiter asked if we’d like Parmigiano. We said yes, but it never came. When we followed up, the owner “We don’t put Parmigiano on fresh fish shouted 3 times despite the fact that I was having risotto with mixed seafood and my partner had lobster pasta. Taste is subjective, and the reaction was unnecessarily rude and embarrassing. I raised my concerns with the owner, who had also been serving us. Rather than listening, he chose to joke about the situation, dismissed my concerns, and when I reminded him I’m a paying customer, As I was trying to explain why I wasn’t happy, he touched my shoulder and walked away. When I told him not to touch me, his response was, “It’s my house, I do whatever I want.”told us not to come back, and repeated the same again when presenting the bill. It was a genuinely unpleasant experience, and not something I’ve ever encountered before — either at this restaurant or anywhere else. There’s a big difference between having culinary standards and treating customers with disrespect. After being a loyal customer, I left feeling unwelcome and disrespected. I won’t be returning, and I hope the management reconsiders how they speak to and treat their guests....
