The playground is situated in the middle of the park next to the lake, it is equipped with many different kiddie facilities, slides, swings, tree houses, dragon swing, sand pits. The playground is well maintained. The kids and parents there are friendly. It is definitely one of the best playgrounds in East London. There are plenty of other activities in the park when the kids are done here.

Superb playground with some epic slides, and lots of play equipment: swings, sand area, climby things, bridge & spinny things. Hub cafe close by, with toilets, and also water park and skate park next door. Would recommend - our littleun loves it :)

Beautiful spacious park, SO many things for the kids to do, on top of it all being set on a huge sand pit. The slides are epic too. Best Park I've been to yet! Was very quiet too going middle of the day, term time.

If you're looking for a playground that makes kids' eyes light up and parents' coffee go cold from distraction, Victoria Park's main play area is the spot. It's like a mini adventure world tucked into East London's green heart.

First off, the slides here aren't just slides—they're mega. We're talking about towering structures that make kids feel like they're on top of the world before they zoom down with squeals of delight. The climbing frames are equally impressive, offering challenges that keep the little ones engaged and active.

For the younger adventurers, there's a dedicated area with swings and smaller climbing equipment, ensuring everyone from toddlers to tweens has something to enjoy. The sand play zones are a hit, too—perfect for digging, building, and getting gloriously messy.

In the summer months, the splash pool is the crown jewel. Open from 11 am to 5 pm, it features water jets and fountains that provide endless fun and a much-needed cool-down on hot days. Just remember to pack a towel and maybe a change of clothes—kids will get soaked, and they'll love every second of it.

Safety is well-considered here. The playground is fenced, and the surfaces are designed to cushion falls, giving parents peace of mind. Plus, the nearby Pavilion Café means you can grab a coffee or snack while keeping an eye on the action.

In short, Victoria Park's main playground is a vibrant, well-maintained space that caters to a wide age range and offers a variety of activities to keep children entertained for hours. It's a community favorite for...

This playpark is most suitable for 5 and over.

Whilst there is plenty to do for all ages, I have seen safer playparks around for under 5s. This park is most suitable for primary school age onwards. I have a daredevil toddler and plenty of the areas are not suitable. 4 stars due to not so great maintenance. I have seen 3 or 4 pieces of equipment out of action today and a few damaged. Plus, who had the (not so) genius idea of putting a gravel area next to the sand area? The result is a mix of sand and gravel which is not great to walk...
