West Croydon Post Office — Attraction in London

Very poor service! I would give zero stars if I could.

The operator told me that to pickup an amazon parcel I’d need a pickup code. My amazon parcel was meant to be delivered at my home address but because I was away on the day they attempted, royal mail gave me a chance to rebook it and I chose West Croydon post office.

Upon arrival, the lady kept asking me for the pickup code and then kept calling the next person, rushing me.

I said amazon didn’t give a code as I rescheduled with Royal Mail. She did not care and said “just keep looking” and she did not have any knowledge to resolve the issue. I have never been asked for a code before. She kept rushing me, asking the person that was after me in queue to come forward and kept saying that the system was going to be automatically shut down.

Amazon doesn’t give me a code because I rescheduled my delivery with Royal mail directly.

I was refused my own parcel ! This is insane. Terrible...

Be prepared for your post to go missing.

Every single envelope I have ever posted at West Croydon Post Office has gone missing - after placing each in the sack attached to the wall, as instructed (and which I was repeatedly informed works just like a post box).

These items never did arrive at the destinations that they were intended for (even small-sized birthday cards). In addition, no institution/body is wanting to take accountability for this, nor can offer me any explanation whatsoever as to where these items are.

You'll do well to avoid this store.

Wouldn't accept a parcel as large letter even though all the measurements and weight was correct as of the size of large letter ended up having to pay extra for a small parcel. Still wouldn't accept it Wouldn't be surprised if someone burns down the place. Definitely won't step foot in there again hopefully the place shuts down. Needs to be !!
