West Harrow Recreation Ground — Attraction in London

I love this park it holds great memories off me and my dog (RIP) today sat under the shade of the trees with the #empoweringyoga class behind me. The only down side was that the park needs some loving. The grass needs a cut and the hedges reshaped. Not sure what Harrow Borough is upto lately as maintenance of local parks and grass verges is poor and the cutting of healthy trees high and from what residents can see for no good reason and no replanting. This is a great little cafe (Syd's) in one of Harrow's best parks. They have recently extended the building to provide tables inside, but we ate outside on the picnic tables. We shared two 12" pizzas and a 9" garlic bread and a side salad between 4 of us and this was plenty. The food arrived in 15 minutes and tasted good. This garden is a true gem! It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. The grounds are well-maintained and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the scenery. There is also a playground, which is great for families with young children. I especially love that dogs are allowed in the garden, so I can bring my furry friend along for a walk.
