Long Rock Beach — Attraction in Ludgvan

This beach is massive so is never too busy. It’s a mix of stones and sand. If you like the water there is so much to do. I’m an open water swimmer so like to swim along this beach you can get a good few KMs in. Better at high tide as you can swim close to the shore, there is a drop off so be careful if you don’t like deep water. Use a tow float as you can get a few paddle boarders ect in the water. Car parking only a pound for the day and plenty of it. Dog friendly beach all year round in the direction of Penzance. Lovely walk either on the beach or access friendly path to Marazion. 2 cafes - one part of a wind surfing school, which is basic. £3.50 for all day parking - even for National Trust members (not a nat'l trust lot). It's a bit pricey but it's a great beach, flat-ish water perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding (not so great for body boarding and surfing).
