Bearsted Woodland Trust — Attraction in Maidstone

This is a great place for a dog walk (or a walk with young children) On a hot day there are plenty of areas with shade from the trees and on a wet day the trees provide some shelter. There are large open areas for the dogs to play. Only a small car park near the church but there is plenty of parking in the village near the green only a short walk away. Maidstones little secret! Go into bearsted from a20, get to the green on your left. Take first turning and follow to the top of windy road and you find the car park. Great for walkers and dog owners, probably 45 minutes all round. Very pleasant, if maintained by friends of the woodland. They do a great job.
