Giving it 3 stars as the place was absolutely rammed and many people had finished whilst myself and others had to cram on small tables. I really think during high demand times some form of turning table time should be insisted. Also the quantity of tables at the front is such that it does feel crammed in. Again, if they had a table turn policy then people could feel more relaxed and or request people with pushchairs collapse their buggies. In addition to this whilst the food was lovely it is premium priced and I did not expect to have to pay London prices in a small village of £13 for a small brunch plate and £4 for one small chocolate chip cookie. The coffee was okay it did taste burnt and again was over £3 I question it being of a barista standard to warrant that price point.

Also dog owners be warned I really debate the dog friendly policy as you can not enter the premises with a dog, you have two tables on a tight pavement outside to use...

This coffee shop has huge potential but unfortunately, the level of service and quality of the coffee do not match the decor. The staff are very polite when you have their attention but during my visit (first thing in the morning and we were the only customers), they were far more intent on having their own conversation between themselves rather than engaging with the customer. I have visited the coffee shop on five occasions (each one for a different reason); each time giving them the benefit of the doubt. I have to say the coffee is the worst I have tasted in a very long time. Bearsted is crying out for a good coffee shop. Unfortunately, Feds has not lived up to...

What a lovely place, fresh, tasty and different food, which is served beautifully, by lovely staff and in a ambient setting, I even liked the crockery! Popped in for a coffee with my Mum, we ended up having a delicious brunch which we both really enjoyed. Its not the cheapest, but it is quality and when the owner took th time to come over and chat to us, she explained that she likes to use local suppliers so she pays a bit more - which I am all for and it really was worth it. I felt like I was in trendy London cafe, but had the pleasant surrounding of Bearsted Green. Cant recommend highly enough - well worth a visit and the...

**R** - Relaxing and very beautiful location, with a historical cricket šŸ ground at its doorstep. **E** - Environmentally friendly, offering freshly baked goods and eco-friendly packaging. **V** - Vibrant, engaging and emotionally intelligent customer service, with a welcoming open space indoor and cozy tables in the sun outdoors. **I** - Informative books available to read while enjoying your coffee, cake, or tea. **E** - Excellent tasting coffee that stands out. **W** - Winning combination of decor, facilities, location, coffee, and services. We thank you!! Riaz and Cheeks (West Indies Cricket).

I’m visiting from Australia - After a week here I’m so fed up with either weak or burnt sludge from ā€˜the chains’, drowned in badly blended milk, all truly awful, so my Cortado here was a very pleasant surprise. Very friendly staff, nice decor, great location. I only had a bacon brioche ( nicely done - but… admittedly, hard to stuff up!), but the menu looked much more interesting than the standard offerings. Give this independent gem a go - you’ll miss places like these when they’re no longer here!

Fed has an excelleny location on the very pleasant Bearsted Green (although not overlooking the green). The cafe is quite expensive, but offers quality food, including Toasties, Soups, and lunch dishes, in addition to cakes and the usual teas and coffees. There are some seats outside and approximately 30 seats inside. Service is from the counter (and delievered to your table). I have attached a photo of the menu and a view of the green (not taken from the cafe).
