Beautiful area in a very quiet space of Bletchley run by MK Council this offers nice country walks and it can be muddy in some spots be careful there is a big pond which is really pretty and then the highlight is the Blue Lagoon which is very gorgeous especially on a sunny day cool reflections looking over the clear waters and it's also 18 metres deep so I would advised not to swim in the lagoon as its dangerous but I visited this place today and had a beautiful walk around the nature reserve the Blue Lagoon was my best bit I felt like I was at the seaside as little waves were rising I will be visiting again and also the car park is closed atm due to works

Went for a dip on Xmas day. Water temp was 6.4 degrees apparently. Skins, no dry or wet suit. Bit silly really, until they fix the heating I won’t be going back. Still, it seemed quiet, just four other people of equally questionable sanity with me at the time. 5 minute walk from the car park. Felt longer on the way back. Dog friendly. Apparently there’s a plane of sorts at the bottom. Couldn’t see that and definitely wasn’t going to dunk my head. Maybe a wetsuit and scuba gear would help. Watch out for the bricks on the way in, wear booties if you’ve got ‘em.

A very nice area to come for a walk. The only issue is the sheer volume of garbage that has either been fly-tipped into the car park. Or just thrown into the bushes by absolute morons. There are some very disrespectful unscrupulous locals who seem to use the place as a rubbish dump, a pub or a motocross track. They also like to ignore the 'No Swimming' signs.

Nice scuba dive venue! Attended today with LUEC (Leicester Underwater Exploration Club) thanks to MKSAC dive club hosting us. Arranged in advance with their dive officer and had a great day! Lots of things to see in the water itself (Cessna, Some cars, various boats and anchor chains etc). MKSAC were super hospitable; provided hot drinks and a bbq which was very welcome after a scuba dive in the lake. Be aware that there are no facilities for air refills or for bathrooms as is a lake & nature reserve so ensure you have full cylinders and empty bladders before...

One of the best places in the area. It is getting very croudy on sunny days with people barbecuing and sunbathing. Almost every sunday there is a group of deep divers, that are practicing here. the lake is 18m deep and there is planes/boats etc. on the bottom. sometimes the only problem is kids from neighborhood that are riding motorbikes very dangerously not taking into consideration that there is families with kids. Parking could be bigger as well. and of course there is a group of travelers, that comes here every year for week or two and makes...
