The Eight Belles — Restaurant in Milton Keynes

We were Milton Keynes for the football and had travelled down from West Yorkshire. Knowing we would be wanting some lunch and that the football season was starting, we looked online for a pub that could cater for our need for some lunch and footy on the TV. We chose the 8 Belles in Bletchley. Parking was ample at the rear of the pub and the good sized beer garden would be perfect for any larger groups on a match day if the weather is good. We chose to sit inside and were greeted by the very friendly staff who honestly, were so nice and approachable. Food was ordered, usual pub fayre in Burgers and Pie, mash and veg for my lad. The burgers were spot on. We had the desperado burger and fries. Really nice!!!! All accompanied by a crisp pint. No complaints at all. You know when food is good when a youngster polishes it all off!!! All in all a great spot of you are like us, in town for the football at Stadium MK and wanting somewhere to grab some really nice food, have a few beers and have the early kick off on the TV to get you in the mood. Have been to this pub about three times in the last couple of months and we thought the management were very polite and welcoming.

Unfortunately, we tried to book a table for the pub Quiz and were completely ignored, letting people over a day later book up all the tables to ensure we didn’t get one, even though we booked first.

This was the second time people booking after us got prioritised before us and the management couldn’t care less, unfortunately, first come first served does not exist in this pub, which is a shame because other than the scam of a booking system it was a nice...

The eight bells has finally reopend, after advertising a 90s evening we ventured in to see what was happening. There was a birthday party happing in half of the bar. It wasn't realy a 90s evening but more of a karaoke which is not what I was expecting.

The bar staff were helpful, polite and efficient, but advertising something and not actually doing that was kind of a let down. The little group we were in had a couple of drinks and got a taxi into MK center and spent the evening in there.
