Pasha Turkish Grill Restaurant — Restaurant in West Bletchley

Unfortunately this isn’t a good review, there was 8 of us on Saturday night, it wasn’t very busy so no excuse for the waitress to be as rude as she was. One of my friends asked for the tzatziki starter to come out with her main and was told no the chef won’t do that, even though it’s a plate of tzatziki not hard to plate up. Then I had a mixed platter for one and I’m not a fan of the Adana kofte so asked if I could change it for 1 lamb chop and was swiftly told no by the waitress, I even said ok can I pay for 1 lamb chop to which she replied I would have to order a full main meal of lamb chops. I asked another waiter who went to ask the chef who also said no. So I jokingly said trip advisor is a powerful tool, which was in the waitress’s ear shot, she came storming over and rudely said quite loudly I’m not a supervisor I’m just a waitress, in an aggressive manner. I also asked if I could change my rice to chips and she also said no, she said I can get them on the side which I agreed too but they never turned up! One of our mains turned up and no one else’s did so they had to take it back as it was going cold. We have been before and it was great but unfortunately not this time. We spent over £400 and they couldn’t even give me a 1 lamb chop...

It’s a real shame as we saw the restaurant had won an award and this we had high expectations when we booked for dinner. We asked for our food to come all together as we had a cinema booking we were heading to afterwards. The waiter put this through on his tablet but it was evidently ignored by the kitchen as half our order came out almost instantly whilst we had to wait over 45 minutes for the rest. And then when our mains came we had to ask numerous times where our accompanying sides were. The waiter was quite obviously embarrassed by this as he continuously tried to avoid eye contact with my partner whenever trying to order more drinks or see where our food was. Long story short, we missed our cinema booking and left feeling more than miffed that all of the staff there seemed to prioritise take away orders more than the people in their restaurant as the table next to us also had to repeatedly ask for a bottle of wine they’d ordered 20 minutes prior.

Overall food was good but the service ruined the experience as well as the lack of remorse or attempt at a goodwill gesture....

Matsee has the most gorgeous Indian food and so well cooked. I am a fan of Palak Paneer but it is so unobtainable in the Buckinghamshire area where I live. Recently my son offered to buy me an Indian meal, I prefer the Chinese, but looked through Matsee's menu and what did I see the Palaks and Paneers from the past, what could be more suitable :-). And the food was cooked to perfection. I cannot fault the food at all.

But however - The delivery could not be more opposite. It was insipid, deplorable. My son and myself live in an apartment block. The delivery person decided to buzz once BUT as the buzzer was not answered within 2.5 seconds he buzzed like an absolute maniac another 20 times thereafter. What does it take intellectually to realise that that's a buzzer like a usual house door entry, one buzzes once, waits politely for 30 seconds or so, then tries again. I swear this bloke was furious, it really pulled off the kindness of the rest of the procedure of booking a meal and enjoying it. This is...
