Such a lovely place to take your family. Very clean beach. Car parks are cheap £2.70 for 24 hours at the one at the top of the hill. If that is full there is one for £3.00 all day near by and other car parks.

Plenty of places to eat but if having an evening meal it is advisable to book in the restaurants.

There is two beaches the one to the left of the harbour whilst looking out to sea has more waves and no life guard. The one to the right is calmer has lots of boats but there is a roped off area where you can swim and this is watched by life guards so safer for younger children.

Plenty of crabbing to be had off the harbour walls and where the boats are there is kiosk on the beach that sells teas ices etc and the blow up boats dolphins etc.

If you look out to sea you might even see dolphins in the bay there are organised trips to see the dolphins and go fishing from the harbour.

Beautiful place nice and relaxing...

Two very different areas of beach are available separated by the Mole . One very sheltered and great for young families with a smashing beach cafe, the other very natural and "wild". Both are quite small and can quickly become crowded. The larger of the two is also by the lifeboat station and harbour with numerous small boats moored therein which you can wander amongst at low tide. The town has a very day tripper kind of feel to it with several chip shops and numerous restaurants, bars and cafés. It's a "well worn" location but we find it good for a short break as there is plenty of walking available (if you don't mind hills) and there's always the chance you could get to see dolphins or...

Beautiful, stunning beach! The year round dog friendly part's of the beach is actually much bigger than the restricted dog side. Parking in Peak time's is very difficult due to it being a small beach town. Unfortunately I have mobility difficulties and struggle to walk and I found this town, beach front and some other neighbouring beach town's to not be overly disabled friendly and there is a great lack of public toilets on beach front. However, if your looking for a quiet, relaxing break with stunning view's as well as regular opportunity to go on boat rides to see seal's, porpoises and dolphin's up close, this is definitely the...

Lovely beach and harbour. Lovely seaside town with plenty of places to eat and drink near the beach. Parts of the beach are off limits to dogs during some of the summer months, so please check signage that is up around the beach entrances. If you are looking for a dog friendly beach near New Quay, we can highly recommend Cei Bach beach, which is about a 6 minute drive from New Quay (its the sandy beach that can be seen opposite New Quay beach). Great for dolphin spotting from the harbour walls, we've spotted some on every visit, so worth taking your binoculars!
