Jitterbug — Restaurant in Wales

One of my first times out in new quay. Went to this place because it looks “instagram worthy”. The blonde manager, Ciara I believe, she was very abrupt with me and my friend. Saying after the baby Guinness wasn’t made correctly by the staff (by the way, the staff were amazing and friendly) she replied “you aren’t in London, you are in Wales” which my friend found abrasive as she was trying to help and educate the staff in a friendly way. For an establishment that charges above average for drinks in the area, the managers should spend more time training their staff on how to make good drinks. Walked in here and though we knew it was going to be lovely, the decor exceeded expectations- what a beautiful little spot to add to Newquay!

Extensive choice of coffees and hot drink along with some of the most delicious looking cakes in the display. Food menu for lunchtime was simple but good, including a selection of toasties and ciabattas (no vegan options which was a little sad) but the hot chocolate & packet of crisps sufficed!
