Fantastic beach! One of the best in Cornwall. The path down is very steep but it is 100% worth it. It is dog friendly and great for swimming. The cliffs are unstable so keep at least 50ft away at all times. There are many cool places to climb but would not recommend exploring the caves for safety reasons. It's not busy and a great place to spend a couple of hours. There is room for about 3 cars on the road in front of the path but you can easily park down by Porth Beach and walk about 5 minutes up the hill.

Newquay has lots of very nice beaches, however, my personal favourites is this one. Especially after lunch when the tide goes back retrieving in and making the place accessible for walk accross. Then you can explore, see the stone formations, caves and enjoy a absolutely massive beach. The water was really shallow, so you really need to go in to get a decent depth, however, I found it safe to leave my stuff and enjoy swimming.

This picturesque spot is known for its soft golden sands and dramatic cliffs that create a serene atmosphere, perfect for those looking to escape the crowds. Accessible via a scenic path, the beach is ideal for a relaxing day out or a scenic walk, with rock pools to explore during low tide. The views are simply breathtaking, offering a glimpse of the rugged coastline and the vast Atlantic Ocean.

Away from the popular beaches of Newquay town centre this unspoilt location is a great place to see the natural beauty of this special part of Cornwall.

Given its natural setting don’t anticipate lots of immediate facilities.

There are one or two places nearby for refreshments including a pub and a long established holiday park shop within walking distance (if you are fit).

A great place for a picnic.

Watching the tide come in gives you a clear understanding of the mesmerising...
