Alford Road Park, West Bridgford, is damaged and unsafe. Climbing tree unsafe not ideal for a childrens play area too dangerous. Play bridge damaged and sharpe metal protruding through the hole. Glass bottles left on park, I had to take one off a child who was trying to smash if for fun. Council needs to do something about this park before there is a serious accident. Numerous older boys on bikes riding in the toddlers area. It is next to a busy road, while we were there a young boy got knocked down by a car and police, paramedics and ambulance attended. I would not recommend this park, it is unsafe and far too dangerous for young children. The grass area is fine for playing ball games and picnics, although empty cans and bottles are left around.
